First Annual Jawa Awards!!

That’s right, if it’s not painfully obvious from the title, this is an “award” show SW style. Call it ingenious, cool, or a product of sheer boredom, but I think it’s an interesting (and slightly comical) way of recognizing those of us that have gone to great lengths to make their characters stand above the rest. Now without further to do, he are the categories.

MR. GOODY TWO SHOES: As a kid, he was the one reminding the teacher that she forgot to assign homework. True blue and honest to a fault, he won’t even remove the tag from his pillow. Bad guys beware: if he weren’t so nice he’d kick your teeth out.

THE BLACK HEART: He’s causing death, destruction, and mayhem all before lunchtime. Stealing candy from babies is how he gets his kicks. If you value your life you’ll stay out of his way, though even that won’t save you if he’s in one of his “moods.”

TOUGHEST S.O.B.: This guy eats nails for breakfast. He’d rip you a new one just as soon as he would to look at you. A chair shot to the head, a knife in the ribs, a couple of blaster bolts, heh, your going to have to do better than that to stop him. What....you want to fight? I hope you brought your lunch.

THE BOB HOPE (In loving memory): You don’t dare read this character’s threads while drinking milk, least you should spray moo juice everywhere. He puts the fun in funny, the humor in humorous, and the ish in foolish. You think he should be on stage, or locked behind stone walls in a padded room.

THE WISE CRACK: Confucius eat your heart out. He can spit out six old proverbs and some sage advance in the blink of an eye. He was leading people down the right path while your daddy was still in diapers. Mess with him, and you’ll get the tongue lashing of a lifetime.

THE BRUCE LEE: This character’s very name sends chills up your spine. Fighting him would be the last thing you ever did. Whether its with brain or brawn, he’ll stomp a mud hole in you and never break a sweat.

THE WUSS: Hear that knocking sound? Don’t be alarmed, it’s just this character’s knees. You’d find out his name if he’d stick around long enough, but this guy’s yellow streak is a mile wide. If you wanted to fight him you’d have to kick his butt, cause that’s the only part you’ll ever see.

MOST ORIGINAL: He’s a man all his own; so unique in form and manners George himself couldn’t have devised such a person.

Here’s where all of you come in. The voting is open to anyone and all awards can be given to both male and female characters alike. Nominate and vote for anyone of your choosing but I do ask that every rper only vote once. Seeing as how I don’t know the many faces of every one here, I’ll just hold you each to your honor. You can vote for as many or as few categories as you would like. The competition begins now and runs until August 31st. Now, let the voting begin.

These threads tend not to end too well because we always have an argument over whether or not the thread should exist; whining about popularity contests has been the only detriment to these sort of threads, at least that I've ever seen, I frankly am not bothered in the slightest by it. I'm not taking part but it doesn't bother me. Let's just give people the benefit of the doubt for a change rather than saying "Bad idea", which in the end, if it all goes pear-shaped, has nothing more than an "I told you so!" nature to it.
