Yep, I think I'm pretty well known for my odd links around here, but I guarantee that this one takes the proverbial cake:

Now you, too, can take Everquest classes at college, where you're required to purchase and actually play EQ for 3 months.

So many people are gonna take that course as an excuse to play video games and get an "A"...

You know, the Atlanteans started doing crazy crap like that like 10,000 years ago, and then their island exploded!

According to one recent study, this virtual world is the 77th richest “nation” on the planet with a per-capita GNP that outstrips China and India (Castranova, 2002).

I still love that it's richer than Bulgaria.

Bulgaria has a 50% larger per-capita GDP than China. You sure it's richer than Bulgaria?

Maybe Ghyslain can take his lawsuit winnings and enroll. This is the only way he can actually strive beyond to become a bigger geek than he actually is.

I thought having a class on LotR or Star Wars was geeky, but THIS?

Does the final exam involve russian roulette with an automatic pistol? Yes plz.

What do you mean, shooting ourselves? You take a pistol, fire it into the air, then whoever shot off a live bullet gets to throw the ball into the revolving roulette table.
