For all the Sig Makers in here (No Hijacks Please)

I've decided to upgrade to the rotating sig style. So I'm holding a sig contest. And I'm going to upgrade 3 og my characters to the rotataing sig format.

Here's the last one -- I like my basic idea, but once I tried to make my drawing (yes, I do little thumbnails of sigs sometimes) in PS, it kinda looked different then what I had originally thought out. I still like it best out of the four :D

The ones marked Flat have been flattened, but are the same as the unflattened ones above them. Also, with roadfly, all files are Case Sensitive, meaning it wont work as sorshasig.jpg, but only as SorshaSig.jpg as you see them.

Jenny has a very valid point. It looks meh because you loose detail when you downsample. .jpg compression is less on an issue than the resampling. You only have so many pixels, and when you shrink it everything gets averaged (sampled many times, but still). At the very most, it should be twice as big.

I just thought of something, Kitty: you could use the new signature for opening posts, but keep the random one for inline stuff.

You only have so many pixels, and when you shrink it everything gets averaged (sampled many times, but still). At the very most, it should be twice as big.


Because I like to get detail right. I work at 200 pixels per cm, which normally shrinks very well, hell normally I can shrink them down to Avatar size and the detail holds. The level of detail I can get is superior. It's only this one that refused to shrink well, which I've now worked out why. removed one layer and the compressor worked a good deal better
