The freighter came in for a smooth landing on the asteroid. the captain assured Niccademas the information he sought could be found... just not on his flight. He was told this place held the best starpilots in the galexy, and transportation to anywhere could be purchaced at the tavern.
Walking from the ship Niccademas made his way across the enormass bustling hanger.

Eldorack Met Niccademas as he was walking towards the Tavern. "I am Eldorack, you are" Eldorack waited for a moment "I am Niccademas. I am looking for the Tavern." Eldorack put a hand towards the Tavern " come with me. I will take you to my tavern."

Maia's head snapped up as she felt the presence of another force wielder in the bar. She was always wary when away from the GJO. Her family was still hunting for her. Maia opened herself to the force, cloaking herself as she did so. She felt peace from the man a sense of calm, A Jedi. She sent a message to him using the force. "My brother of the light, come join me.." Maia's sweet musical voice rang softly in his head...

Looking around at what was once a dead hunk of planetary debris hurtling through space, was now shaped by sintiant beings into a very usefull and working weighstation, complete with different types of beings from all corners of the galexy. All this was very curious to Niccademas. Carefully studying all he witnessed on his way, down to the smell's and textures, mentally noting these experiences to be later written down in his personal journal.
Once at the tavern Eldorack escorted Him to, The smell of food was whispilly dancing through the air, tempting the patrons here ever so slightly. Just as Niccademas was about to inquire on something to eat, the slow inaudible thrum of another force user reaching out caused him to stop.
Closing his eyes, the Force painted a picture of his surroundings in exacting detail, yet it didnt travel farther than the confines of this room. A curious discovery He would later note. It was there he saw Her. The light enveloped her with darkened streaks coarsing around her aura. Excusing Himself from his present company Niccademas walked over to the woman...
"May I have a seat ?" He asked never taking his eyes off Her, motioning to an empty chair. "By the way, I am called Niccademas... and I am new to these parts, perhaps we can help each other!"

Maia bowed respectfully to the Jedi. Ari her pet chirped his own greeting. "My name is Maia and it is truly a pleasure to meet you. Yes, I think I could use a little help and would gladly help you in any way I can." She said in respectful tones. She plucked a bit of raw meat off her plate and fed Ari. "What is it you wish me to help you with brother of the light?

The search Niccademas had embarked on was everpresent on his mind. The familliar being He felt was out their, somewhere in this vast universe and although the need to find him was great, an immediate problem was at hand.
This female had a hint of darkness welling up from somewhere in her mind. Through the force He could see it, existing around the aura of light She permiated, cascading like water rivlets around the glass of a cold drink. This was fasinating and yet saddening to Him.
"You know my dear, emotion is like a key that can open a doorway to the darkside... once inside it is like a thief, plundering and pillaging its way untill nothing is left but a shell of what once was." The lines of concern softened about the mans face as he spoke in a gentle voice.

Maia smiled sadly at the Jedi's words rang more than true in her ears. She had been at odds with herself ad her family since the day she could remember. "The feelings and emotions are hard to let go of when it was all you ever knew as a child sir. My family walked where I did not want to tread and I paid dearly for that. I have found a new family now among the Jedi and they treat me well but sometimes the memories overwhelm." Maia said sadly to the concerned man.
"There is nothing I would like more than to forget where I came from but I have been told that to forget the past would be to fall into the trap of repeating it." She shook her head in frustration. She rubbed her cheek against her beloved Ari, he was at times the only thing that brought her comfort. Looking up at the Jedi she looked into his eyes wondering what had brought him to this distant place. "Why is it you are here Master Niccademis?"

Niccademas smiled attentivly as she spoke until she reffered to him as master. Lost in thought for a moment He sought the safest answer to the question Maia did not speak.
"To me trying to achieve a status as a master is likened to hunting a preditory creature that inturn is stocking you. Once you have acheived this it either is dosile or subseviant to you never more testing your skill, therin the learning grows stagnant." Pausing for a few seconds and looking from Ari to Maia. "To me, the Force is like an old friend that accompanies and comforts me along this journey I call my life." Thinking to himself for a moment, "I hope that I did'nt confuse you too bad." he smiled "As long as your teacher will approve I can show you how to Attone yourself... this will bring you more in tune with the light and shun the darkness."
"As in answer to your question, I am seeking passage but to where im not sure." fumbling through his non descript satchel he pulles out an archaic tablet of paper and thumbs through it for a few secconds, "I seam to have misplaced that name, but wherever you are going will do just fine... I have currency to pay you for the ride." Holding out paper currency that seems to date back to when the old republic was young he smiles.

Maia nodded at the Jedi's words. What he had said made perfect since in her muddled world. "I will gladly take you where you need to go as I would gratefully accept your help in finding inner peace. My master is kind and I do not think she would find fault in your helping me. As for payment, there is no need your kindness is payment enough. I'm going back to the Jedi Order if you would like to accompany me there, or I can take you where you need to go your choice." Maia smiled at the kind man. She had found the Jedi to be kind and in her short life there had been to few kind people.

Maia smiled at the older Jedi. She wondered why he would not want to be called master, she could sense his power. The use of the old money instead of a data pad confused her though and she wondered where he came from. Not one given to question people she stood and gathered her belongings, leaving her credits on the table. "Come my ship is not to far, it will be a pleasure to have a traveling companion." Maia said. She was a loner by nature but at times she became very lonely.
She approached her ship a skip ray her brother had left for her when he had dropped her off at the GJO. She had not known about it until she had unpacked and found the note he had left her. He said it was for if she ever regained her senses and wanted to come home to the Sith. Her tears were bitter and painful. She had named it Ari's tears. It would not do for people to know they were her tears shed at the sight of the ship... Opening the gangplank she led the man onto her ship...

The sleek Skip-ray Blastboat's fuselage and cockpit were built streamline to afford great manuverability, but it was the huge dual aft mounted engines with rotating stabilizer wings that made this ship look menacing.
After a short while Miai had the vessel up and away from the hanger. The veiw Niccademas witnessed from space was awe inspiring, it seamed, as by the apparent look on his face. The distant nebula off to the right of the ships veiwport laced with different hues of red's, blue's and green's danced in an unmomoving aurora borealis that caught and held his attention. Silently Niccademas watched and marveled at the sight. The powerful violence that occured with such magnitude that it tore a planitary body apart, and scattered it over that large an area, could have produced shockwaves that would have been felt anywhere He thought to himself.
Watching the cosmic phenomenon a smile crossed His face just before the ship entered hyperspace. He thought how much the Force played a part in the entirety of things... speaking for the first time since sitting down, "From violece and chaos, the Force brings forth beauty, and all you have to do is just look for it."

Maia set the auto pilot coordinates to take her to her new home The GJO. She turned in her seat and smiled at the awe on the kind mans face. "Tell me Niccademis where it is you come from." She asked in shy tones, unused to asking anything of anyone. "We will be there soon but there is some time." She said as she took Ari from her shoulder and began to feed him, his shrill chirrups showing that he had been waiting for the ritual meal..

Watching the starline's of hyperspace traveling past the veiwport, Niccademas pondered the question Miai asked. After a few moments he turned to look at her...
"It's not where we come from that is important, its where were going and all that happens along the way." He smiled assuredly. "Nobody can change the past... only focus on the present and future." The question He was dodging was more intricate than He could explain at this time, and hoped to draw Her attention away from the subject.
"That is a magnificent creature that accompanies you, tell me what planet is it native to?"

Maia smiled at the mention of her Ari, her eyes softened as she rubbed her cheek against his soft feathers. "My brother gave him to me three years ago and he has been my best friend every since. He h made me happy even in the hardest of situations.."
Maia said with a soft, sad smile her memories showing clearly on her face. Her memory was of her crying in the garden behind her house after a severe beating from her Sith master. Ari had flown to her shoulder and began plucking at her hair as he cooed shrilly in her ear. When she had looked up at him she saw that he had brought her a dead mouse to cheer her up, to her horror. Maia giggled at his indignant look when she had flung the mangled mouse from her leg.
Maia ran her fingers softly over his beak. "My brother said he bought him in Kashyyk for me. He is a link to my brother as well as a good friend." Maia said softly. Turning back when the ship alerted that they were approaching the Order. "We are here Niccademis." Maia said as she took control of her ship.
