im a little worried - new problem

twice now ive gotten the blue screen of death in as many days. my net connection keeps coming on and off, and when its on, its super slow. if anyone can help me out, itd be wonderful. i just downloaded firebird .6, and gonna install it later.

my comp is a 220 precision workstation, refurbished dell. not sure on the processor though.

If I remember right, it's a PIII 667 MHZ. I know it's in the 600's somewhere, but I think that's the processor speed.

when i first got it, i had to have a new harddrive installed because the first one crashed when i first turned it on. after that whole mess, i ended up installing windows twice. and that was the last time. i ran a virus check, and it looks to be infected with a view things, but ima see if i cant wipe all that garbage this afternoon.

oh, and i figured out the reason why the net was so slow; sbc be doin' maintenence work this morning.

i got the blue screen again about two hours ago, but since the net started being functional again, thereve been no more episodes. the only thing i can think is that my comp is like me. without the net, we just want to die ^_^;

new problem.

it seems photshop is corrupted or summat. i just got done individually ratting out and deleting viruses, but i have no way of reinstalling ps cause i, um, accidentally left it with my old boss in cali :cry

i havent deleted it yet, hoping that i can fix it still. photoshop is like air to me. i need it to live. and all yall whove seen my art folder (and the hundreds of other folders within it) know this to be true.

Do you know what exactly in PS is the problem? Is it a specific file?

it started when i was working on a sig, and i thought that that particular sig might have been corrupted, but after i closed everything down and restarted ps, it came right up as soon as it was opened.

photoshop.exe is the file it says is corrupted
