My Chacter Pic...

does anybody think it would be weird if I used myself for my character pic? It would fit perfect since I plan on my guy being my age and size and everything...what do you guys think about this?

Well I doubt anybody is using me as their character pic lol. I will think about it....maybe take a better pic of me to use....the pic I have to use looks really good but when I make it avatar size my face looks weird.

Maybe you're not resizing it proportionally. If you want you can give me the image and I'll resize it in Photoshop for you

I have the same jeans as you. Anyway, the pictures are fine proportionally. However, if I were to do this, I wouldn't use a picture of myself which looked like I was posing for the camera but would have the camera capture a picture of me doing something I'd considered IC for my character. The second picture's good, just that your eyes aren't looking at the camera, probably because you were checking the picture on your comp screen or something.

Grev, I am not Boltzz.....he is hosting the pic for me though. We both quit ezboard today, too much trouble. I decided to come here and RP, I don't know where he is going...he said he'd still post some just not as much. He goes by the name neglection now (or he said he'd make a new one when he came back) if you want to look him up ;)

Dru, I think you're right. I was smiling for the pic because my friend made me laugh when he took it. When I get my dad's digital camera back (he has to bring it home for work, I wish he'd just go ahead and buy one...but if he can use a $1000 one for free why spend money on his own?) I'll take one of me....doing something lol.

And Peter...it is my bro's. it is a Slammer or something, some knock off he got for around $100-$150 from a friend. I have a Squier P-Bass myself, though I am thinking of trading it in for a guitar...bass doesn't sound right by itself and my band just died so I have nobody to play with. We couldn't find time to practice so we just called it off.

I used to use a very photoshopped picture of myself for a character pic once [OBVIOUSLY not this character :rolleyes] but doing that didn't last too long. I actually try not to use pictures of anyone I know too much about, or the characters end up acting like the person in their avatar...

Yeah I was planning on this character acting kind of like me, so I was thinking why not use me as the character.

What kind of gun?

I've shot quite a range, a few days ago a buddy of mine brought out his AR-15 (which has AK47 muzzle for less recoil) and gave it some serious hell...that gun owns.

I know for a fact that it will be a Springfield XD. Not totally decided between 9mm and .40 cal, or standard issue vs tactical (which is 20 bucks more).
