Breaking the habit

memories consume
like opening the wound
i'm picking me apart again
you all assume
i'm safe here in my room
[unless i try to start again]
i don't want to be the one
the battles always choose
cause inside i realize
that i'm the one confused
i don't know what's worth fighting for
or why i have to scream
i don't know why i instigate
and say what i don't mean
i don't know how i got this way
i know it's not alright
so i'm
breaking the habit
tonight
clutching my cure
i tightly lock the door
i try to catch my breath again
i hurt much more
than anytime before
i had no options left again
i'll paint it on the walls
cause i'm the one at fault
i'll never fight again
and this is how it ends
i don't know what's worth fighting for
or why i have to scream
but now i have some clarity
to show you what i mean
i don't know how i got this way
i'll never be alright
so i'm
breaking the habit
breaking the habit
tonight

Gero strolled into a sleazy bar with a predicament. In his 107 years in the galaxy he had always been a bounty hunter. Until Jabba put a price on his head so big. This forced him into hiding, for 20 years. When he came out the rebels, whom he hated, ruled the galaxy, the Galaxy were reduced to less then a hundred systems and the Sith were returning on Corellia. He continued to be a bounty hunter until this ponit in his life. Now he wanted to be more. A warrior for the Empire, the Chiss or the smuggling clan.
The next person he met would decipher that choice.

"Damn! I love this song!"

-Said the slim blonde as he walked in. He headed strait for the bar, as always.-

-Tyzen walked behind, his ghostly apperance attracting a little attention, but not enough ti be concerned about.

The only real cause for concern, perhaps, were for the slug pistols on each thigh and the master marksmans rifle on a sling over Jesse's back.-

"Remember Jess, we can't stay too long. I guess we have an hour, tops, untill the boss comms us in."

-He followed Jesse to the bar as a crew member, he sat and joined him for a drink as a friend.-

"....and yeah, this song is pretty rock'in."

-Choosing to use the words of his friend, not quite the vocabulary of his own.-

"You two. Are you New Republic?"

Jesse

-Jesse almost laughed.-

"Frell no!

Well, don't get me wrong, we throughly enjoy the Republic's lifestyle but I have to say I'm not exactly a boy scout."

-Tyzen didn't say anything, he left the talking up to his friend. Instead he did a shallow probe of Gero's mind, he was screening for any hostile thoughts or any alliegences that may be dangerous to them.
He found nothing that they needed to be concerned with.-

"Then what allegiance are you?"

Jesse

"Well I guess we "work for" ol' skip.
You see we work as crew members aboard the "Dauntless" under captain Kanner.
We do alot of stuff, smugling, bounty hunting but mostly we hyjack ships.
It's great fun and the pay's pretty good....."

Tyzen

"especially when we score a good freighter."

-His lop-sided smile not visible beneath his head-gear.-

"You could've been someone interesting. Like the Sith or the Empire."

Jesse
Jun 22nd, 2003, 01:38:05 PM
"Well I gotta admitt, those Sith guy's know how to have fun but they're a little to uptight. As for imperials, well..........they're really very boring.
Nah, the fun jobs are the illegal ones."

Tyzen

"Amen to that, brother."

-He said as he knocked the knuckles of his closed fist against the knuckels of Jesses's fist.-

"Well i'm really looking for someone with a specific affiliation."
