First, the good news. Our DSL is now up and running. We now stay online all the time, without interrupting the phone line, our connection is faster, and no dial up is required!!! I'm so happy!!!!!!:crack :rollin :crack

Second, the Bad News, which happened before the Good News, and so set me up for the perfect super high rise in morale. I flunked my Drive Liscense Test. The fact that it was raining, and that I was nervous contributed to it. I forgot that I was supposed to back straight out, THEN turn the wheel when backing out of a parking space. I knocked a cone over, instant disqualification, instant insane madness for failing a licensce test. :mad

So I knocked a cone over, making it feel all :x
But, thanks to the Good News I feel better, plus knowing that no matter what happens, comparing myself to Agent Charley will always make me feel better, I think that I am in good straits. :D

Congrats on getting your DSL up, and sorry to hear that you failed your drivers test. It happens to even the best of us.

It's wonderful that you got DSL Admiral. :)

Don't worry about the driving test. I think a lot of people fail on the first try (I know I did), you'll get it.

I can't pass mine yet, but I haven't heard of anyone that got it first shot! Hope it feels like baby-stuff next time you go for it ;)

Charley: What I meant was, that if I am feeling depressed, all I have to do to cheer myself up is look at myself in the mirror, look at a pic of you, and BOOYAH! I feel better myself already, and feel sorry for the poor sap. :D :D :D :rolleyes :rolleyes :D :D :D

No, you're just a comedy black hole. You've managed to suck the humor from not only this thread, but every adjacent thread. That makes me and baby Jesus cry.

I walk,

Driving is evil,

and getting hit by a car can totally kill your feelings towards learning to drive.

I was homeschooled, yes, K-12th grades. I didn't ever take Drivers Ed, and in CA where I lived at the time you have to wait until you're 17 1/2 to test for your permit without a Drivers Ed cert. from a high school. So when I was 17 1/2 I took my permit test, but I ALSO went to college at the same time. No one at school had time/wanted to teach me how, and I suffered from a lack of being TAUGHT until I was 21, and then I bought my own car, moved out on my own and got my licensce all within 5 months.

What's Driver's Ed?

Ed = education.

You become educated in learning to drive so you can kill the earth faster. :) it's a great idea. Especially when your being forced into learning to be educated in driving. Now that's something.
