Okay Week 8 and this weekend the Hulk will smash the Box office :) Also arriving Alex and Emma with Kate Hutson and Luke Wilson and the most likely awful Justin to Kelly its that American Idol movie I have a good feeling that will bomb badly, there hasn't even been any advertising for it. Okay you have until 9AM on Saturday to make your predictions.

It will depend on what it does Saturday. I am wondering how much Potter effected it on Friday, there were a lot of Potter Parties Friday night and they were very crowded in my area.

Great hold for Nemo.

Not exactly the opening expected for the Hulk. It seems bad to say it for a movie opening with 60+ million, but that's not good.

I still wonder if Potter had anything do with it. Realize 5 million copies were sold on Saturday there were Potter Parites everywher Friday night and people blew 20 dollars on a book not too many would want to blow 20-30 more at the movies. I think Potter effected the box office at least some.

By up to 20 million? Not a chance. I can see a few million, but not by the rather large discepency we see here. Im mean lets face it, no one got even close.

I think it could have made the difference between say 70-63 or something like that also I think another reason for the less money is because of poor buzz, and I blame the trailers here they aren't good trailers compare them to X2 which had a brilliant trailer to Hulk and we see a huge difference. The thing that could help the Hulk in the long run is good WOM because a lot of people didn't see it you might have that effect if the people who saw it liked it. Anybody have any cinemscores? That would give us some clue.

Jedi Master Carr

I think the June record will really get shattered next year. Harry Potter 3 is suppose to be released on June 4 I am sure that can make 80+
