Breathe in, breathe out, focus on the Force, feel it move through you. You and the Force are the same, it is a part of you as much as you are a part of it. Notice how it engulfs your very essence, give yourself to it, it will protect you...

A young man sat intently focused on his breathing exercises, the voice of an older more seasoned man could be heard coming somewhere in his immediate vicinity. He kept his eyes closed, concealing those cold crystal blue orbs from the his surroundings. He did not need them to see, the Force showed him everything just as it happened, if not sometimes a bit before.

Now focus on the stone there in front of you... Good, now move the stone in front of you and set it down a meter from where you sit. Now pick up the stone to the right of you and position it above the firt stone, stack them on one another and maintain your column. Very good, now add another stone...

This instruction carried on while the young man built a small column of stones that reached a good 2 meters high. There the boy sat hands on his knees in a lotus meditation position.

Now Xavier, maintaining your control over the column, begin your exercises...

"Yes Master Liyln," The boys tenor voice replied. Slowly his bright blue orbs opened and the blonde haired lad rose to his feet. He then flipped forward into a hand stand and begun doing vertical push-ups.

Remember young master Muteki, A Jedi must be able to maintain his focus even under the most exhausting of physical duress...

"Yes... Master...." the boy huffed as he continued to perform the strenous feat of strength and agility.

Suddenly one fo the stones flew out from the stack striking the practicing Padawan in the chest. However the boy maintained his balance, continued to hold the stones and execute his push-ups.

"96, 97, 98..."

Excellent Xavier, even in the face of pain a Jedi must be focused. You are halfway there, don't stop...

Another stone flew from the pile striking the boy in his left arm. He howver continued to maintain his balance and control.

"125, 126, 127..."

That's it Xavier push yourself harder...

Another stone left the pile this one screamed for his face, the boy however did not so much as blink. Instants before the stone should have struck his nose, it stopped. The balance of the remaining stones in the column wavered for a moment but held still.

Excellent Xavier, even in the face of death and defeat a Jedi should call upon the Force to aid him...

"198, 199, 200..."

As he called out the last number the stones fell to the ground as did he. Exhausted both mentally and physically from the exercise in Force control.

Excellent Xavier, you have achieved quite a bit. Now go get yourself cleaned up and rest, we have much to discuss tonight...

"Yes Master," The boy spoke softly and with a docile tone. As he walked off towards the hutt were he stayed he passed the flickering image of the spirit of now-dead Jedi Master Jacen Liyln, the protector of Kanan Prime and guardian of it's secrets.

The hutt was nothing special, in fact it lacked many modern aminities that homes 1000's of years before it had. There was no running water or indoor plumbing of any sorts. However it was the natural splendor that provided the home with all it needed.

Located behind the thatched structure was a small lagoon, a 15 foot water-fall. Xavier removed his clothes and wrapped himself in a towel he had knitted himself. He then walked the short distance to the clear blue body of water and stepped into the cool liquid, tossing his towel carefully to the shore. Slowly he waded out to the water-fall where he stood and let the rushing water cleanse his soiled frame.

Slowly the boy ran his hands hands over his face and through his hair, rubbing vigorously his body trying to wring the dirt, sweat and grime his muscular frame was covered in. The water slicked back his unkept, light dirty-blonde hair and rinsed his chiseled jaw of any blemish.

Xavier was tall and athletic. His body was well-conditioned, tall and broad. He did not look as though he was exceptionally strong, but looks were decieving. He was relatively hairless and his light blonde body hair barely showed where it grew.

His eyes however were the most notable of his traits, unnaturally blue and bright, they shone like diamonds in the sunlight. They seemed to be endless wells of hope and light, though within them, the black pupils seemed to contain a sense of loss.

And they had every reason to...

Xavier was the sole survivor of a once flourishing Jedi Clan. An ancient and revered master had left the order to reach those with potential in the Outer Rim and on the fringes of Unknown space. Master Jacen Liyln at one point and time had over 20 students and had promoted a few to the rank of Knight and placed them in positions to help teach. There they flourished without the taint of the darkside to stymie their growth or hamper their progress.

Though old enemies do not stay away forever...

The Planet of Kanan Prime was once the home of a cult of the Sith who experimented with their dark magics and powers on the indigenous life on the planet, twisting beasts into pawns of their dark desires. These Sith were however marooned on the planet during an attack by the Jedi and unable to leave, they soon realized that they would die on this little known rock and set about creating a temple to store their spirits until some unsuspecting soul might free them and give them a home.

The Jedi watched the planet for years, its remote location however made it unlikely that someone would stumble across it, however a small colony led by a former Senate Guard did happen upon the world and start a small civilization. It was then that Master Lilyn was sent to guard the temple and make sure it's secrets stayed as such.

While there he began teaching young force adepts in the colonies the ways of the Force. One of his brightest pupils and also one of his youngest was the great-grandson of the Senate Guard who had founded the settlement, Xavier Muteki...

For a while things were good, the Force was in balance on the Planet and Lilyn's Jedi Clan was flourishing, but such is the law of the universe, all good things must come to an end...
