DO NOT and I MEAN DO NOT open any e-mails titled

"It takes guts to say Jesus" or "Undeliverable"

For these can contain a new virus of which there is no cure for at this time, this virus deletes your entire harddrive!

And it was made using a program from Norton, some freak hacked into Norton and got it and started to send it out.

So remember those titles and don't open any e-mails with titles like that from an unknown source!

I don't think you actually can get a virus without executing a file

Wrong.

Most only require opening of an email.

Wrong.

Most only require opening of an email. Comedy Hahahaha I use Moz and web email option.

Virrii is just yet another reason not to use Microsoft stuff on the internet.

I only use proprietary Outlook when at work or school, when those institutions don't mind their computers getting fried. Hey, I'm just a peon. You're the management types, right :)

Survived so far, and I'm not going to be the one that screws the computer anyway, it'll be the sister :)

Our computer is already whacked up. It frequently stalls, CD-ROM went bad a while back, and just this morning the computer couldn't detect the registry.

That's not as bad as my comp at home. It's not wanting to run Windows 3.1, and yes, it is an old computer, not worth having other then there's some games on it that I like and can use through DOS(sp?)

And thanx for the warning on the virus.

I only open emails from internet provider, other than that, my email account is pretty much useless.

I don't think I really have a working email address anymore, so methinks I'll be safe... unless any other idiot in this family still uses email.

Danke for the warning.

Thanks for the HOAX.

For god's sake, check the proper AV sites before repeating hoaxes.

http://vil.mcafee.com/dispVirus.asp?virus_k=98307

Honestly, the clue is the about the dire damage it does. Sucessful virus do not destroy their hosts.

Grrrrrrrr. Do NOT post virus warning without first checking. In fact, the hoax itself is the virus and the cure is to stop propagating the hoax

Marcus, this may suprise you, but some people dont know of "proper AV sites". At least Rin shared this information with us.

Weeeeeeeeeell Sorry Mister Marcus, considering I got the info from a very good (and reliable) source.

If it's a hoax, then it's a hoax. Not my fault.

If your source couldnt pick an obvious hoax like that, then it's not reliable.
