It was hot, and as if to cause more discomfort to the soldiers a steaming wind was blowing sand into their faces. But they didn’t move. No, they lay where they were, unwilling to disobey orders. They’d been here for two days now, eighty klicks from base. The enemy had yet to show themselves. The soldiers, though well trained, were getting restless. Which is just what the predator was waiting for.

Out of the sand dunes of Tatooine burst the largest Krayt dragon ever seen, and only one brave commando was man enough to launch an attack against it…

“AAAAAAAAHHHHH! DIE!”

There were no Krayt dragons on Tatooine. But Trent Zellen didn’t know that, and even if he had it wouldn’t have mattered. Launching himself from under a table at the passing legs of a customer, the little boy screeched as loud as he could.

“Hoo-ha! This…is…Zellan…come…in…base…come…in…ugh…”

He gripped the legs tightly, twisting his four-year old body around to try and surprise the dragon. He wasn’t about to let his fellowmen die. If it meant sacrificing his life, then so be it. The child’s face was smeared with a canopy of red and black, obviously stolen from his mother’s make-up cabinet. It was his attempt at camouflage and he’d been quite happy with the ridiculous results.

“Eat…dirt…demon!”

One tiny fist punched the calf of the horrendous beast, as other clientele—or his crew, as Trent saw them—stared on in confusion.

Jacali Danner hadn't been in the bar five minutes, before she was attacked by a small boy who jumped out at her from beneath a table and attached himself to her legs.

"Agh! What the?" She exclaimed as she felt a small punch her in the calf. "Ow! Little boy, what are you doing?"

She nearly toppled over.

Trent did not see Jacali. Trent did not hear her yelp and question. All Trent saw was a ginormous dragon, and all he heard was,

SCREEEEAWWWWWWWK!

The child imagined the sound of lasers and bullets as his comrades in arms tried to help him. Alas, they were useless against the beast.

"Not this time dragon! T'day you die!"

He pounded her legs again and wrapped his own tiny appendages around her, writhing as if some invisible form was flinging him. People were murmuring to themselves as they watched the peculiar scene, which was becoming entertaining.

“Hoo…Ha!”

And then he screeched, arched his back and lay still. Sergeant Zellan, it seemed, had been killed.

Jacali was motified by the scene as he attacked her legs again, this time with a little more force.

"Agh!" she cried again and leaned down to try to pry him off, but surprisingly he released her, arched his back and fell to the floor, laying very still.

Jacali looked up at the patrons staring at them. "I didn't do anything."

The boy seemed to have gone into shock, or perhaps was having a seizure, but she wasn't sure.

She quickly crouched down by him and gently touched his shoulder. "Little boy, are you alright?" She looked around impatiently. "Where's the mother?"

It was just what he had been waiting for. His vast blue eyes sprung open and a cocky grin lit his face, tiny baby teeth glinting viciously. Trent reached up and grabbed Jacali’s neck.

“Gaurg!”

He stood up and flung his legs about her own, shimmied up to her waist and then tightened his grip around her neck. It was quite a sight to see little more than a toddler attacking an adult so efficiently. But then again, Trent did it regularly much to his mothers dissaproval.

“Mee’chore death, scum!”

The new attack was alarming as Jacali attempted to step back.

Who is this kid? She thought as she struggled to get out of his grasp around her neck.

She coughed and tried to pry him lose again as he somehow had latched himself around her body.

Jacali wanted to body throw him, but he was just a child. So, she struggled some more to get lose and ended up toppling to the floor.
Child in tow.

“Gotcha!”

Trent leapt off the woman and began to do a little dance, slapping five with invisible people that he saw quite clearly with the aid of his imagination.

“Now we can have a bar-bar-barembeque! I love Krayt steak!”

He struggled over the long word and finally settled on his own version before flitting back over to his slayed prey. Trent reached down to his pantline and pulled an imaginary knife from his imaginary belt. And then, without further ado, plunged his tiny knotted fist, into Jacali’s stomach

But, Jacali was ahead of the little rug rat this time. Even though, her Jedi training hadn't offically begun, she knew what he was about to do and grabbed his fist with her right hand. With one easy move so she wouldn't hurt him, she turned it behind his back and had him. She proceeded to smile. "You lose." She whispered gently in his ear. "You gave quite a fight, little one. But, if you're good, I'll buy you a shake. Deal?"
