i think the vehicles will totally ruin its greatness as a face passed FPS. It will be fun but more halo-ish, unless of course you dont even play that mode at all. :rolleyes

Vehicles were something that was originally planned for UT2K3. You can access one map where you can drive around in one via a console command.

As far as I know, Epic is making the UT series more and more like a sports franchise: This is simply the next iteration. It's supposed to come with a rebate for those who already own UT2K3.

UT2003 was, in my opinion, amazing. I'll definitely buy another one! I've still got UT around here somewhere...

Graphic Design at my school made a Need for Speed/Unreal type game. It worked well, if you ignored some of the major flaws.
Point is, I don't see how Vehicles will take away from Unreal. You don't have to play with them, but others will enjoy it.
Seems a bit Tribish though

Tribes 2 is fantastic! I've played it during a few LAN parties.
