This weekend, after going to various other places, me and my friend were invited by a ladyfriend of ours to attend a local motocross rally (she had connections, so we could get in for free.)
I'd never been to one, so I didn't really have any idea what to expect. Lets just say that its a culture entirely alien to me. I saw thousands of people at a dirt course, stuck out in the middle of nowhere in the woods. Dozens and dozens and dozens of people competed, in age groups as old as 30 and as young as 3 (which was CRAZY to see. Who would let a kid that age ride a MOTORCYCLE up and down hills so that they went airborne???)
All in all, there were kids that didn't even come up to my waist that could pull off bike tricks that would get me killed. Was the absolute most bizarre thing I've ever seen, and I love every minute of it.
