Well I kinda lied.

Yes I am moving...yes my monitor is still broken...but I got a backup monitor at a garage sale (Yes it works I'm on it right now) so I'm back now.

Atleast until I move, which'll be in 2 weeks or so.

Of course...considering I 'borrowed' my roomies monitor for a week I technically never left...but either way...I'm still here.

Thank God it's the end of the month. :)

Yeah, but what's the point if dozens of people go in to the doctor with SARS and come out in 5 minutes with a small bottle of antibiotics? The purpose of a medical facility is actually to cure people, not to make sure everything is free. Heck, there are tens of thousands of people down in USUHS right now in Bethesda in the uniforms of the U.S. military, and 0 military guys from Canada. Where are they all? Shouldn't they be researching medical stuff with all the other army and navy and air force guys? I mean, we have Canadians with their own offices on our aircraft carriers, why not in our huge medical complexes?

I've lived here for 23 years, and it's not like that at all. There have been no SARS cases in the city where I live now (at least that I have heard about) Most are in Toronto.

There are screening processes when you go into a hospital or doctors office -- I know because I went to the hospital with my mum and brother, and there were no SARS cases reported in the town where they live.

If you go to a clinic, yes, they just check you out and give you a prescription. If you go to the doctor and you have something seriously wrong, you go and have tests. Then you have to go back and get checked if things aren't fine. If you have an emergency, you go to the ER. It's not any different from anywhere else. It just depends on what's wrong with you I guess. But I can only speak from personal experience.

And, I don't know much about the military at all, so I have no clue why there are no Canadians there. We usually joke about our military being 50 guys and a tug-boat :p

Honestly though, I don't have too much of a problem with the occassional Canadian joke; some people (not Visch tho) take it too far or are just plain rude and insulting. We're not all nice and polite, and as much as you'd like to think it, a lot of Canadians hate Americans with a passion.

Example -- my sister is dating an american. he asked me if I didn't know he was american, and we just started talking, if I could tell. I was like "YES!' He has that "We're the Greatest -- Canada sucks' attitude oozing from every pore. Plus he's rude and stupid, stereotypical yankee right there. :lol

BUT...not all Americans are like this, I know a lot of Americans from all over the States from Fans who are wonderful. Maybe I should write the Governot General and see if we can make you all honorary Canadian citizens ;)

Domino's Pizza quality is entirely dependant upon the mood they're in when they're making it. Sometimes you get a decent amount of toppings, and often you don't. I'm sorry, but if I order olives on my pizza, that doesn't mean I want 1.5 olives per slice.

That's my only beef with Dominos. They're too coked up on their own stupidity to give me my olives.
