Remember when I was just talking about Hollywood being completely out of ideas? Yeah.

Hmm might be interesting if that paticular plot wasn't done to death 500 times already. :p

They always change some parts in adaptations. Maybe the plot will go? ;)

All it needs are some small changes:

- The "Sk8r Boi" is now a highly trained hitman, played by Chow Yun Fat, who gets his jobs from a shady employer, played by Chevy Chase.

- "she" no longer does ballet, but is now a pole dancer, played by Monica Bellucci.

- Her friends are now Ninja Vampires.

- "Turns on TV, what does she see?" Chow Yun Fat killing the President of Botswana with a dessert spoon.

- "She" is now too late because CYF hooks up with her best friend who isn't a Vampire but is a pole dancer, played by Carrie Anne Moss. "She" arrives just as Chevy Chase's character pays CYF to kill the Vampires. Cue 20 minute shootout/Samurai sword fight, ending in a car chase.

- John Woo directs, Steve Buscemi and Joey Pantoliano also star.

See? Great film :)

What? No transvestite John Lithgow cameo? For shame...

He can be the cross-dressing President of Botswana ;)

Only if he wears a green floral print blouse. And red hot pants.

I have no idea why, but it just adds to the rediculousness of it all.

If all that was in a movie, I would see it. It would be a box office smash.

If we were put in charge of making movies, the world would be a better (and more poledance/ninja/vampire orientated place) :D

This movie would only be remotely redeemable by the sudden appearance of a giant robotic frying-pan weilding Bollywood superstar cast who eats the heads of the major cast members.

Oh yeah. That would RULE. :)

Bollywood, as in Bombay India's famed film paradise? Would said superstar please sing and dance while wearing supermodern clothing, but the music would be traditional situar and make no sese whatsoever? My that would be great.
