No, not yet. Loads of speculation and names flying about though. Bryan Robson is the latest person to say he's interested. If he becomes manager I cant see the club ever going anywhere. I thought he was crap, and its just be confirmed! He's said its the fault of previous managers that Villa are as crap as they are now and that it has nothing to do with the chairman. The chairman whos happy to take £25 a game off of every single supporter but wont cough up the cash to sign new players.

Im not one for booing the players. Crouch was very poorly man managed in my opinion.

For a start we paid 6m for him, which is well over the top. He was then thrown into the Villa squad straight away. A 20 year old coming from the first division and expected to make a huge impace straight off? Its a bit much to ask. We should have brought him on as a sub a few times for the last 20-30 mins. If he doesnt score, no big deal, he only came on as a sub. If he does score, he's a hero and it builds his confidence. Instead his confidence was shot to pieces and the fans started to get on his back.

I think he's a decent player. Certainly one id rather have on my team than not because he's got some great touches and he gets himself in some excellent possitions. He needs his confidence built up again, work on his body strength cos he is the skinniest thing ive ever seen! I swear he dissapears if he stands side on to you.

Wasnt worth 6m and he should NEVER have replaced Angel who was our leading goalscorrer at the time. Just goes to show how much of a muppet Graham Taylor really was.
