We need a thread like this , Right?:D

I'll start with my Least favorite movie's that i know will suck without ever having to give them a chance.

Charlie's angels 2:Why lord ,hy Put us through Month's of Plastering those nasty trampazoids all over our T.v while we are trying to enjoy our regularly scheduled programing :mad

Matrix reloaded: why Lord ,why was not the first one bad enough for one life time? If I were to watch this I would more than likely leave the theater SMARTERO_o Need I mention that the Matrix beat out TPM for best effects in 99 and got undue credit for bullet time??

Ok the ball is rolling Sound off on what you Loathe to see, come on Speak speak

Fast & Furious 2. I don't really care to see it, but something tells me I'll get sucked into seeing it.

The Matrix looks interesting, but Daredevil, Ben Affleck's movie, was horrid.

I agree with you 100% on Charlies Angels 2. That looks terrible. I thought the first one was terrible too...

Daddy DayCare... Not that it looks terrible, I just have no desire to see it - doesn't look like it will be one of Eddie Murphy's better ones.

Dumb and Dumberer... Don't get me wrong, I loved the first one, but it seems like a bad idea to have a prequel to this one that doesn't have Jim Carrey or Jeff Daniels in it.

Jeepers Creepers 2! :lol

I have yet to meet anyone who liked the original, and the fact that they're making another one makes me laugh my butt off!

Oh, this is simple...

American Wedding... the sequel to American Pie and American Pie 2.

As if the first two weren't bad enough... and sadly, I know people that will go see it and love every minute of it...

Or, maybe Freddy vs. Jason, because both of those series of films were sucktacular so long ago on their own.

Unfortunately I don't think they will ever be old enough to fade from memory once and for all.

Well, if you know lots of movies are gonna suck, keep your eyes out for low-publicized indie-flicks.

I'm not banking on Fast and Furious take 2, or the Hulk. They both seem a bit off to me.

LMAO! :D

I just bought the Charlie's Angels DVD the other day.... I think 2'll be a great no-brainer type of popcorn muncher.

I'm not looking forward to 2 Fast 2 Furious but I'll probably end up seeing it as my roommate is a huge Paul Walker fan. And when I say "fan" I mean "stalker." ;)

Dumb and Dumber-er = teh suck

Dumb and D......
Dirty Dancing2
FatF2

Won't go to see them, won't rent them, and unless I'm strapped to a bed with my eyelids taped back I won't watch them on cable.

If I was strapped to a bed with my eyes taped open, I would be more worried about the woman in the leather outfit that did it rather than what's on TV. Now, for movies I don't want to see.

Matrix Reloaded
Dumb and Dumberer
Fast and the Furious 2
Spy Kids 3
Freddy vs Jason
Legally Blonde 2
Rugrats
Pokemon

Ugh, that American Idol musical, "From Justin to Kelly".

Total waste of space. >_<

May 14th, 2003, 01:32:03 PM
Ooh amen to that!

Anything Pokemon
Anything American Idol on the big screen
Anything Rugrats
Anything that looks like a bad sequel to a bad movie: Scary Movie 3 :eek
Anything that is a rehashing of a great movie just to make more money minus Patrick Swayze (which I can't spell) - Dirty Dancing 2. unless he's in it, in which case that's just sad.

I pity you all. At least after the 'Idol' rubbish was over here, it just ENDED and people just went away and you were able to ignore it all. Having to put up with a movie ... oy.

Apparently you can. :) Spelled it right, you did. Alot of these movie sequels are to movies I never saw or didn't like. The number 2 is one to avoid this summer it seems.

An American Idol movie? We've hit rock bottom this time for sure.
I thought we crashed when Legally Blonde 2 was announced, but this is it. I'll see you all, I'm heading to my underground bunker now.

Dirty Dancing is a classic. Must see it. Really.

Dirty Dancing 2 sounds like .....sacrilige! Its going to make people hate the original. I can just tell.

There is something good about Dirty Dancing 2 though.

You see they are filming it here in Old San Juan and they just loved the building where I work at. So they decided to shoot a scene there, which meant us having a free paid day!

I still wont see it, but at least I got something off it.

Unfortuntely looking at the popularity of American Idol I expect it to be big. Also I am not really looking to Scary Movie 3 sure it is being done by Zucker but he hasn't done anything good in years the last good film he did was Hot Shots Part Deux. And sure Leslie Neilsen is in but everything he has done since Naked Gun has been lousy.

I won't being going to the theatres much this summer. I am not the biggest film buff in the world. But is it just me, or has movie quality dropped drastically in the last decade or so? And taste too? I find more and more baser quality/hack films being lauded over with greater frequencey these days than ever before.

What I mean is, see I have lived in California all my life. And during my childhood years, between my friendly wrasslin and neighborhood sports get-togethers, and whatever else a I did. One thing I was able to do and that is catch plenty of the saturday and sunday afternoon matinees on television. Not to mention plenty of evening showcases too. I have seen just about anything and everything in my younger years. I have to say the last decade or so of cinema has been pretty insipid. Anybody agree?

Charlie's angels 2 will suck only reason for going to see is Luce Liu (god I love her). other then that I can't decide on what else will be crap. I'll most of the comedies will be but thats because so far there has been any of those that have sparked my interest.

I'm going to see Freddy vs Jason. But I have a soft spot for campy horror films. :) I am well aware that it's going to be pretty bad, but I just can't help myself.

By and large, there's nothing I want to see this year outside of Return of the King, Matrix Revolutions, Underworld and possibly The Hulk (Jennifer Connelly being in it is a bit factor; She's my favorite actress).

Oh, I've already seen 28 Days Later but I think I may go see it again in theaters, if I can find someone to go with me.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

I don't care what anyone says. I think all they're doing is some piece of crap with uber cool effects to impress people. Just including Sean Connery in that movie makes me laugh
