43.2% Roman Catholic? How did that happen? Why aren't you 56% Protestant, 28% Roman Catholic like we are? I mean, we both have predominantly German/English ancestry, right?

Muslims more than doubled their numbers to 579,000

Let me emphasize MORE THAN DOUBLING.

Hmm....wow.

The crazy homeland security paranoia is still stupid, but at least now they have some kind of number to back up their action.

The Catholic thing is because of Quebec as far as now it is nearly 100% Catholic, how many of them actually practice who knows. The Muslim issue is unfair not all of Muslims are terrorists.

Most of the muslims won't be staying in Canada for long. It's just the first country on the immigration route. First they try and get into Canada, then they figure since they got into Canada they'll try and get into the U.K., then they figure that since they got into the U.K. they'll try and get into the U.S.

So by the time we get them they've been security screened by two countries already.

I'll pipe down when I get tired of hearing myself imparting precious knowledge upon the people of this board, thank you very much! :lol

Quebec is mostly Roman Catholic, infact it has the highest number of churches per capita in North America. I can't remember the number but it's ridiculous. Many of them are closing up because the number of people that actually practice has dwindled to record lows.

Yeah that is what I thought there are a lot of people who claim they are catholic but a lot of them don't actually go to Church, its like that in Europe.

The article said that only 20% of the pop actually attend frecuent religious services.

It's like that here too.
