View Full Version : What should I see this weekend?

I have won a free movie pass (whoo!) and soda (double whoo! *yes I'm cheap*) from a cereal box, and I'm wondering which movies would be suggested to go see in the cinema this weekend, and thus do a write up for nightschool as well.


:D

So any good suggestions? I'm thinkin' maybe X2, but I'd like to get other choices too.

Bullet Proof Monk looks like it'd be a good one. Other than that, I dunno what else to suggest.

Just make sure that you check the fine print on the ticket, and your nearby theatre's policies on free passes. A lot of cinemas employ a "pass list suspended" period for new releases, especially major ones. You may not be able to use the pass on X2 this weekend if that is that case.

Bullet Proof Monk looks like it'd be a good one.All reports indicate that this movie is horrible.

Good idea D'an, the ticket-thingy doesn't say anything about it, but the theaters might.

Shrin, my friend saw Bullet Proof Monk and said it sucked, so I'm taking her advice (we have an almost same taste in movies) and wait till it's on video..........

Now to just get someone to drive me to the mall.........:lol

Actually, Gurney, Bulletproof Monk was quite good. I loved it, and so did everybody I know who saw it.

But, go see X2

Bulletproof Monk didn't suck as bad as some people think.

But in comparsion to X2? X2 all the way!! :D:crack

I saw it.. It wasn't horrible... but I want 6 of my 8 bucks back

It's the movie I'd only see at the 2 dollar theater.. decent, but not worth normal ticket prices.


As far as I know our theater will only allow you to use passes before 5. And.. I hope you saw X2. :)
