The Crimson Pit of the Shrine is a blood caked battle arena, where Vampyres can come to test their mettle against one another and train themselves in the Force. Right now, it's being used by two vampyres, each fighting viciously and without restraint against the other. Since Alana's blood call was placed upon him, Soen has wandered freely but fearfully, and now finds himself sitting at the edge of the pit, legs dangling over the edge. It's a solid 12 foot drop to the bottom, and the ground below him is littered with the remains of dead mortals who crossed the vampyres in the past. He's ignoring this by watching the duel before him. One vampyre manages to parry the other, and moves for what Soen sees as a deathblow. The mortal boy points his staff and mutters a word.
"Ignesco."
This little word serves to focus his mind on the Force, and how it should alter the environment around him. He conjures Force-borne fire, a small spark that zings from the staff to the floor between the fighters, expanding in a sphere that blows them both away from each other. Soen smiles at his handiwork, cradling his staff against his shoulder.
