Help with AA batteries.

Ok, thing is, I have to do a calculation to determine how much power can be gotten out of a AA battery. I have the voltage(1.5v) But I need to know the current, and I can't seem to figure out how much electric current this puppy produces. I searched Google to try to find it, but it wasn't there.

Any help here would be hot. Thanks in advance.

Typical current for a AA battery is about 1600 mA-h (ie. it can provide a current of 1.6 A for one hour). That's a standard zinc/manganese dioxide alkaline battery. The current should be the same for different types of AA batteries (Nickel/Cadmium, NiMH, Lithium, etc), it's just a difference in how long it can maintain a charge (different decay rates).
