Terran's robe sweeped the ground around him almost violently as he jumped out of the shuttle and rushed to the Recruitment Center area. He checked his chrono--he had sped back to the Order rather quickly, and he figured he had a few minutes before Nequa and Logic would arrive with the girl. They were going to need medical attention and quick.

"Quick! I need some help! We've got a pretty sick girl coming in and fast. Can we get a gourney out here?" Terran called, commanding but politely. A few NRSF men jogged over to him and then quickly dissapeared into a closet. He figured they were hunting up the gourney.

Meanwhile, Nequa and Logic were probably on their way. Terran waited by the massive doors to the Order as the men were getting the hover-gourney. He hoped they would get it quickly, and called a small prayer into the Force to give them speed.

Logic erupts through the doors with Nequa behind him, looking to Terran with an urgency that defies its mechancial origins. If the people present didn't know better, they would assume that Logic is human.

We've arrived. Lillian's stopped breathing; it seems she will require medical attention after all.

Bursting through the doors almost nocking Logic over Nequa belows, "Where in the 11 rings of the Abyss is the gurney?!?! This girl is very close to final death, and I will not have that happen if I can help it."

As he finishes his tirade, the medical team all but falls out of the closet they were in digging out the gurney. Setting Lillian on the gurney, Nequa turns to Logic and says, "Get on the gurney because you are directing me to the nearest ER equivalent room."

Turning to Terran, "Tell the doc's to be ready in about thirty seconds. I'm going to run and there is no way I'm going to be very polite when I'm moving that fast."

"Thank you for your help Nequa," Terran spoke as the. . .creature made his appearance rather loudly. "You can drop Lillian off on the hover-gourney and the medical team will escort her to the med-bay." Terran spoke as the medical team approached the creature and the girl. There were four team members, each one strong and fleet of foot.

"I've called ahead--we have healers and droids waiting for Lillian. Allow us to take this burden off of your hand." He looked back at Nequa. "If you'd like to stay or meet with a superior, feel free. I can arrange a meeting for you."

Terran?

:: The Padawan turned at the sound of his name to see AB walking up at a brisk pace, but otherwise very calm. ::

Navaria and I were sent when your call came in for healers. She should be down here momentarily.

:: She looked to where Lillian was lying unconcious on the gurney and walked over to her, placing a hand on her forehead. She closed her eyes and made a cursery examination with the Force before looking at a nurse standing nearby. ::

Wheel her into one of the rooms for treatment.

:: The nurse did as she was told and took hold of the gurney, wheeling her down the hallway towards an empty room. As they walked, following the gurney, AB turned to terran. ::

Explain to me what happened.

Logic precedes AB and Terran into the healing room, taking a place at a distance so as not to be in the way, but still be ready should it be needed for something. Logic is calculating all the possible outcomes of this event, and has come up with quite a few already that it doesn't like. It's the closest thing to worrying a droid can do.

ooc: sorry, was on a friends computer and forgot to check the account name. and sorry for the delay, been busy with job and family.

Standing next to Logic Nequa says, "You're not liking the outcome of this anymore than I am are you? I would like to talk with a superior like Terran offered if there is a way for you to tell him or to set up the meeting yourself. I have a feeling that the Order may need someone with my... unique abilities as a scout."

Beyond reassured to see AB, Terran let out a sigh. It was obvious in his face that he was more than happy for her presence--as he gave her a thankful grin. Master Navaria as well? Wow. They would have the best of the best with these two here.

"Well, Master Rie, it would be best if I explained it as simply as possible through my own personal interaction. I felt something strange in the Force and found my way mysteriously to its origin. It was a couple of Sith causing problems downtown, so I prepared to take action. Just then, a few other nameless commandos enetered the fray before I acted--Nequa, presently with us, being one of them."

"It was then that I felt the presence of a small girl. My heart went out to the girl, for she had no means of defense. I made a connection with her mentally, asking her calmly to come to me. Hoever, before she could, she fainted. I was immediately taken back and freightened for her safety. This was, of course, before I identified her as Lillian Snow, and I knew that the droid Logic would be somewhere very near by. Before I could come out to her, Nequa made his way to her and took her from harm." He didn't mention the part about how unwilling the warrior was to cooperate, but figured that it was a moot point.

"As soon as we could, we rushed her here. I am afraid I have no idea what caused her to loose consciousness, but I hope that it is not serious. I have been training with Master Tarkin in the arts of healing lately--please, I will aid you in any way I can." Terran smiled. He then turned to face Nequa.

"This is Jedi Master Rie, also known as Amazon Babe. She is a member of the Jedi Council and Jedi Master. Her wisdom and knowledge is only surpassed by her beauty." He smiled, hoping she'd caught his compliment. "She is a superior, as I promised."

"And what would be Nequa's account of what happened?"

Navaria had overheard the entire conversation before making herself known. It wouldn't have done any good to interrupt Terran as he explained his account of what happened. Also, it gave the Knight some time to examine Lillian through the Force, which she continued to do so while the Jedi waited for the answer to her question.

:: AB looked at those present and had felt Navaria standing at the doorway as terran spoke. Once he had finished, she smiled at his compliment, and then nodded to Nav, thankful she was here. ::

:: While AB waited for Nequa's answer, she refocused her attention on Lillian, replacing her hand on the girl's forehead and closing her eyes, focusing on the Force and it's healing abilities. ::

:: She frowned halfway through her examination, somewhat confused. What her mind's eye perceived inside her body, was that her lungs and throat were raw and sore from fits of coughing. The damaged skin had begun to heal itself, thanks to Lillian's fast healing abilities, but a little help would mend everything more quickly. ::

:: AB moved both hands to rest over Lillian's chest, focusing on the girl's lungs and throat, coaxing the healing that had already taken place to speed it's process. The Jedi Master's hands grew warm with a faint glow. Soon, inside Lillian, the raw and sore spots had been replaced with fresh new skin. Her face began to take on a healthy pink glow as the healing process came to an end. Now, she was just merely sleeping off the exhaustion that had befallen her. ::

"Well, my companion and I happened to be about a block away when two sith apprentices started causing trouble. About that time a third one walked out of the catina that was near where the trouble was. My companion, seeing the original two sith attacking a speeder, went to engage them. About that time I lost track of that fight when I heard a shriek come from the speeder. I rushed the last apprentice and knocked her away. I was going to take the young lady to the local hospital when the droid stopped me. He then convinced me to bring her here" Nequa says while his tail twitches anxiously.

((ooc: Nequa appears as if he is a bipedal dragon(half-dragon from dungoens and dragons) and wearing heavy power armor(terminator armor from Warhammer 40,000) any questions, pm me and i'll send the appropriate links))

Terran listened as Nequa gave his account. As far as Terran could remember, it was truthful and gave good insight into Nequa's thought process. As far as Terran could tell and was concerned, it followed the facts.

He made his way beside Master Tarkin and AB. With training, Terran had become a healer--not nearly as powerful as the other two, but he would be. He smiled. He had confidence that he would one day be a great healer.

"How is she doing?" Terran asked Navaria with a concern in his voice.

She is doing better now. She is merely sleeping at this moment.

OOC: Pardon the confusion. :D

IC:

Terran kept his attention on the scene as AB and Logic spoke. He too found himself concerned about Lillian's condition, and he closed his eyes. He hoped that his comforting presence would be a help to the girl.

Keeping close, he reached down and stroked the young girl's right hand very gently, hoping that it would let her know that someone who cared was there.

Navaria nodded absently as Neque spoke.

"I ... see. Any idea why the Sith were there in the first place?"

She was wondering if this was mere happenstance or if there was a connection between Lillian passing out and the Dark Siders appearance.

"Master Rei is right."

Turning towards Logic and her fellow Jedi ...

"We could do more harm then good if we upset her natural balance. Better to calm her when she awakes then muddle her mind by accident."

Logic

Logic nods its understanding, a gesture not many droids were capable of.

My guess would be that their appearance was coincidence. Lillian would never have volunteered to go out by herself if she had thought there would be an attack.

Her attention returned to Nequa. She wasn't quite sure what he was asking.

In response of the narrowed eyes, "Pardon the pronunciation, I was unsure if I had it correctly."

Unheard by the rest of the people in the room, "Sir, the Jedi seems to be probing your person for Force sensitivity. Should I make defenses aggressive?"

No, leave them passive. I need to know if I'm even remotely sensitive. Nequa thinks to his AI.

The girl shifts suddenly on the bed, brows furrowing as her sleep is invaded with dreams. She can see the Sith boy that opened the car door in her mind, his face overlaying with others that had tormented her in the past. Her breathing quickens as the Sith reaches into the car and pulls her from it, holding her above the ground by her neck, choking her and looking hungrily over her body.

"Nuh...no...leave me...alone..." she mumbles, shifting slightly away from Terran's position. "Loh...Logic..."

Terran stood back as Master Tarkin, AB, and Logic stepped in to assist Lillian. The girl didn't know him, and he figured the best route to recovery would not be through a man she didn't recognize.

He stood back a few steps, ready to helped if needed.

Logic walks forward, metal joints making a metallic squirt as he reaches a hand out and takes Lillian's.

You called?

The droid finds itself thinking how it would be a good thing if it were capable of smiling, and how much that would help.

I'm here. I got some help in saving you. Masters Mystt and Tarkin have come to heal you and...others helped me to bring you home safely.

She has yet to see Terran or Nequa, and Logic is convinced that if she should notice them, the girl will fall into fits of hysterics.

She feels warmth on her shoulders which spreads through her body and tingles her skin. A sharp contrast meets her right hand; the cold metal of Logic's oversized hand. She snaps awake, sitting up quickly into Logic's arms, hugging the droid tightly and crying freely.

"Logic! There were three of them, and they wrecked the cab and threatened to hurt me! I couldn't do anything, and one of them was a girl, Logic! Only men are supposed to be so cruel!"

Lillian? I need to know how you feel. Are you feeling any discomfort at all?

Her voice was soft and tender. There was a quality to it that actually soothed the Padawan ... a gift of the Force.

"... what happened?"

She gathers her will with a trembling breath, voice cracking and stuttering as she explains what happened to her.

"Muh-Miss Ryla invited me into her room last night...I was wandering, because I...couldn't sleep, and shuh...she let me spend the night in her room on the sofa. She recommended that I spend today in a peaceful place, and told me a place to go. I hailed a cab and was on the way, when a Sith man attacked the cab. He killed the driver and I hid in the floor, but he found me and..and..."

Her voice cracks, and it is several minutes before she can speak again.

"He opened the back doors to the cab...and...he...he said he'd do horrible things to me...another Sith...a...a giiirlll..."

Lillian breaks into tears, venting onto Logic's shoulder the small indignance that has been all but overrun by her fear.

"How could she be so cruel? She tried to help him! He wanted to hurt me and she helped him!"

Terran watched from several steps away from the girl. She was having trouble accepting this truth, and Terran's heart cried out to her. The innocence and beauty of children, he thought. Master Yoda had written much about the subject, and Terran had read several of his datapads.

He didn't know what to say or do--at least, nothing better than Master Tarkin and AB would be able to offer. Instead he remained silent and tried to send a warm aura her way.

That's a fallacy, Lillian, to believe that all men are inherently evil and wish to do you harm simply based on a few encounters. Its also a fallacy to believe that women will always protect you and help you.
