I loathed the first movie, the name let alone the premise of the sequel produces a foul taste in my mouth.

First was classic. The second ones name is great for the film. But the thing that made the original work was Carrey and Daniels.

I've never grasped what was funny about the first film. I found it really annoying, just didn't take to it. Oh well. I'll let you heathens wallow in your pit of unfunniness. :p

Yes, I do...but, it's funkeh!

And I agree, that stupid != funny. For example, "Super Troopers". If only I could erase that from memory.

I'm assuming != means "does not equal". Not sure though.

Gah. I'll put it this way, I had never been able to say "This is the worst film I have ever seen!" Then I saw that atrocity. How I hate it! >_<

I thought Dumb and Dumber was funny. If you want stupid, see "The Sweetest Thing". I'm actually a dumber person for having seen that.

I could take a dump and film it - it would be a better picture than Dumb and Dumber. a sequel is just.... beyond a bad idea.

I loved Dumb and Dumber. I think Jim Carrey is brilliant. Ive seen the trailer for the sequal and I couldnt make my mind up. When I heard they were making a prequal I was worried, when I heard Jeff and Jim werent going to be in it thats when it hit panic stations. Now ive seen the trailer I feel a little happier. Whoever the two are that are in look and sound like the characters should so I guess its all down to the film. I saw nothing overly great in the trailer though. I reserve judgement until I actually see the film, as I try to do with all films.
