To make a long story short, I'll be brief.
I thought my vid card is dead. Went to Best Buy, got new one.
Turns out...it's my monitor ("stole" roomies so I could see what the problem was).
Now supposedly, I can connect my TV to my computer to use as the monitor device (which would save me cash and stress)
How can I do that? Has anyone done this before?
Am I nuts?
Help...please!
Thanks :)

Well, if your video card has S-Video out, you can get an s-video cable and hook it up that way. I wouldn't really reccomend using your TV for anything but watching movies, though.

As for your problem, you should have some interface cables included with your new card.

I know I misspelled it. For some odd reason I've always spelled genius, genious.
I have no clue why.
Hmm...interface cables?

Male to male RCA cable normally Quite easy to get if you dont have one and cheap.

Newer cards are s-video, but there are S-Video to RCA adapters.
And your eyes will kill you. Text is AWFUL on interlaced displays.
Edit: yes, you're nuts. Seriously, its terrible for your eyes.
