Zeke is alone in his room. Kindo left months ago to visit his family on Serenno...seems he got suckered into sticking around longer than he meant to. Jackson is out trying to improve his chances of acceptance into the Order. So that leaves Zeke lying in the bottom of his cardboard box, which has been sliding idly about the room, following the idle wandering of his thoughts. Now it has come to rest before the holoprojector. The sofa has been pushed sloppily out of the way by the Knight's telekinesis, and a 2 liter of soda floats over the box, tipping occasionally as Zeke drinks idly from it. He can't afford alcohol now that Kindo's gone, so he has to make do. The projector clicks on.

The Coruscant Watch has confirmed that the beast responsible for the killings as of late was a young Garou girl by name off--

[May Peris]

"Hey, soda won't fix you up, big brother."

May's face suddenly appears over the side of the box, smiling down on him with a playful happiness.

"You're drinking like a guy who wants to forget something."

After years of working taverns and bars, May has learned to read the symptoms of hearbreak.

"Who was she?"

[Zeke]

Zeke turns his head face away with a heavy sigh. He says nothing. It's none of May's business. And besides, if he tells her, she'll find out how it's his fault.

[Jhony]

"Hup!"

Zeke's box rises off the ground and begins to bounce away, carried by his father.

"We can't have any o' this. You're coming with us," Jhony says with a broad grin. "We'll fix that frown. May, take his bottle. Getting drunk off soda isn't any better than getting drunk off alcohol."

[May Peris]

May takes the floating bottle and takes a drink of it herself.

"What's your problem, Zeke? Something bad happened, it's obvious from the way you're drinking. Remember what pops taught us?"

[Zeke]

"Mrnuah."

Zeke's feet disappear into the box as he curls up, rolling on his side away from May's general direction, avoiding the question closing the flaps on his box.

[Jhony]

"Why should you be sad for yourself Zeke? What has happened that was so disastrous?"

Zeke is behaving exactly as Jhony had after the destruction of the first Happy Child. As far as the Captain knows, nothing of that scale has happened to Zeke since then.
