So the 2003 season just starts and already they have the 2004 game out? WTF?!?!

Baseball fever is at the highest point it will be all year. Every team is still in contention theoretically. They have to capitalize on that fever now while people are still interested.

It's like in England - the "Championship Manager" game is always one season ahead of real time. I always buy last seasons game - it goes down to about £5 and is hardly any different to the latest one, except the initial startup is different and different players are available here and there.
