View Full Version : Upgrade from 2.2.9 to 2.3.0 bug report thread

The forums were updated from software version 2.2.9 to 2.3.0 today, very smoothly and easily with very little downtime (less than 5 minutes).

I haven't seen any bugs yet, but if any are found post them here so I can investigate.

Yeah, I thought I remembered you mentioning that. Wasn't sure.

I think Dyzm may have posted a thread right before you updated and it was somehow lost. Not sure. I just know that Viscera told me he saw the thread, clicked the link and it was gone. The thread was something like "What species are you going to play in SWG?" in the Gaming forum.

I just finished running a DB repair to double check for an orphan thread. None found.

Its not, I set it so that they are censored.

Ok, thought that might be the case.

It seems that the Coruscant Nights styleset isn't proerly displaying what styleset a user has selected above their avatar. I think it may only apply to the default styleset, since it's showing up for everyone in this thread.

I viewed this thread with CN, Default, SW, and the T-Phantom styles. I see the display correctly under user names in all the styles I tried. o_O

Mm... maybe I wasn't so clear on what I meant.

Select the CN styleset. Then view this thread: http://www.swforums.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=28449

On the side of everyone's posts, where it lists their status, local time, etc, many of the styleset listings are blank.

Okay, that I can explain. The style settings have changed slightly. If you look at the drop down in the user CP there are actually two ways to be set to Default.

You can choose

"Use forum default" or "Default (Portal)"

Those that never changed their seting in the userCP (or have recently chosen "Use forum default") will be listed as blank like you have shown, while those who actually selected "Default (Portal)" will have it displayed under their name.

Maybe its time to remove that hack? (the one that shows the style under user names) hmmm

Eh, it's a bit superfluous. I can live without knowing what styleset everyone is using. :)

I always thought it was cool to be able to "preview" another style from within a thread that you see someone else using.
