Nine Inch Nails – Terrible Lie

Hey God
Why are you doing this to me?
Am i not living up to what I’m supposed to be?
Why am i seething with this animosity?
Hey God
I think you owe me a great big apology.

Terrible lie
Terrible lie

Hey God
I really don't know what you mean.
Seems like salvation come only in our dreams.
I feel my hatred grow all the more extreme.
Hey God
Can this world really be as sad as it seems?

Terrible lie
Terrible lie

don't take it away from me.
I need someone to hold on to.
Don’t take it away from me.
I need someone to hold on to.

Hey God
There's nothing left for me to hide.
I lost my ignorance, security and pride.
I’m all alone in a world you must despise.
Hey God
I believed your promises, your promises and lies.

Terrible lie
Terrible lie

You made me throw it all away.
My morals left to decay.
How many you betray.
You’ve taken everything.

Terrible lie
My head is filled with disease.
My skin is begging you please.
I’m on my hands and knees.
I want so much to believe.

I need someone to hold on to.
I need someone to hold on to.
I need someone I need someone.
I need someone to hold on to.
I give you everything.
My sweet everything
Hey God
I really don't know who i am

Coruscant was slowly grinding to a halt. As evening drew in people returning from their day jobs to their homes, while Jedi retreated back to the living quarters or to Yogs Bar and Grill to while the night away. Aaron Belargic, one of said Jedi, was ‘relaxing’ in the courtyard closest to his brother Dasquian’s room. An hour from now he was set to meet his brother to discuss the matter of his training; however until then he intended to simply lay here and think.

His thoughts were not happy.

What Aaron mulled over again and again was his imprisonment. The torture he had endured left physical and mental scars. All across his back were the marks of whips and paddles that had been used by the Imperials to try and extract information from him. Sometimes, they wouldn’t even listen to what he said, and it seemed then as though they attacked him simply for fun.

Another thought was that of his brothers daughter, and lover. Why, he thought, had Dasquian left his love for Eiphos behind so quickly? The death of the woman and her children still burnt Aaron and plagued his dreams. Perhaps it was because of he had always harboured a fondness for her, deep down.

All his life he had been shadowed over by Dasquian, and now was no different. Quite frankly, it was becoming bothersome.

“Dasquian?”

A female voice called out from behind Aaron, and the Jedi sat up quickly, turning to look up at the demure figure of the Jedi Knight Xazor Elessar. A broad smile slipped over his lips.

Xazor smiled to herself as the Jedi turned and looked at her with a fondness in his eyes. How she loved Dasquian, and it was a shame to her that they still had to hide their love. It had been a month now after her child's birth and Terran was watching the little rugrat so she could have some time alone -- which was never spent alone, but always in secret with her true love.

Slowly the Garou glanced about to catch anyone who might spy on them, but after seeing no one, she turned once again and walked toward Aaron -- who she never would have guess was not Dasquian. The wind kicked up slightly and caught her black robes, washing them around her slender figure like wax on a melting candle. A seductive smile crept across her lips and she moved close to him.

"Aaye, melamin."

She said softly as she knelt down in the grass beside him. A tender hand touched his face as she leaned down and gently kissed his lips. This brought a smile to her face for she had not kissed him in a while -- nor had she felt his touch.

"How do you fare, sweet love of mine?"

The Garou questioned as she pushed her waist length Garou Warrior Braids from her shoulders to her back. The silver coins woven into them clanged together softly until they came to rest a few moments later. Her eyes flashed a curious shade of silver as the light from the moon caught them and reflected into Aaron's eyes.

"I have missed you so."

For the briefest moment Aaron was surprised to hear Xazor speaking the tongue that he thought only he and his brother spoke, though this confusion was over-ridden almost instantly by the situation he was presented with next.

The kiss was like sweet ambrosia. Compared with the rough passion that Taataani had virtually forced upon him it was caressing, gentile and all together loving. The Jedi found himself smiling impishly as Xazor drew her head back from his somewhat.

“I…”

Beneath the surface of his giddy exterior, Aaron’s conscience begged him not to continue and to explain the mistake immediately. His own wants commanded otherwise, however, and he took Xazor’s hand in his own upon replying:

“… I missed you too.”

Slowly easing himself up into a seating position, the former Jedi Knight pushed all thoughts of anxiety and fear as far from his mind as possible as he smiled warmly at … his lover.

“Not seeing you for so long… brings out such a pain in my heart,” he said slowly, as he mulled over his words, testing them as to how much they sounded like Dasquian’s.

Xazor nodded slowly and touched his face once again with her free hand.

"I know, but it's important that we keep things quiet or Terran will surely find out. I'm afraid of what he'll do once he does."

She looked saddened for a moment but quickly found happiness in his eyes. A happy sigh escaped her lips as she traced a finger down his jawline and slowly over his lips.

"Valanya is with him right now while I have my free time -- and I found you, just where you said you would be. So, it is working out perfectly -- our little system, that is."

The Knight giggled to herself, though it still pained her to be hiding such an aweful secret from the man she was to marry.

"It just hasn't been the same without you around all the time -- I just wish -- well, you know what I want."

She giggled to herself and pushed him to the ground, pinning his shoulders down and looking deeply into his eyes. With that, the woman bent down and kissed him once again, but deeper as the seconds flew by. It was passionate and summed up everything she was feeling for him -- or at least, it was an attempt to speak without words.

"Amin mela lle."

The words were whispered tenderly as she pulled away once again to look into his gentle eyes. Oh how she missed them so, but it was good to be back with him -- even if it was only for a time here and there.

Terran – the one who Dasquian was going behind to reclaim Xazor, and Valanya – the child that Xazor and his brother shared together. How odd it was that the babe should be in the care of Terran; Aaron imagined he would be the last man that Dasquian would want near his child, for fear of the young girl becoming of the impression that Terran was infact her father.

“Yallume…”

Aaron raised a hand to trace the soft contours of Xazor’s face, taking each one in hungrily as he committed to memory the elegant shape and petite smile upon the Garou’s lips.

“Lle naa vanima…”

It was not hard to see why Dasquian found so much love in this woman, when up close to her. Physically she was stunning, in all of her Jedi and Garou trappings, and her mind – opened like a book to him – was caring, accepting and above all strong. His eyes, at this point, must have looked almost thirsty, as he visually gorged himself on what was before him.

"Oio naa elealla alasse."

She whispered softly as a hand gently caressed his neck, offering a slight massage. She smiled to herself and looked around once again before eyeing Aaron.

"Lle mela en' coiamin."

The Knight kissed him and then took his hand and rose to her feet.

"Come, the night is young and a city full of wonderful surprises awaits us!"

She beckoned him, for they had not gone out like this in a great long while. It was about time, or so she thought anyway.

“Wonderful surprises?” Aaron questioned eagerly as he followed Xazor’s lead, firmly squeezing her hand as he walked at her side. A broad grin came over his lips.

“… Do you have something planned?”

"Do I have something planned?"

She repeated the question with a mischievous grin upon her lips. The Knight led her fellow Jedi -- her lover -- out into the Coruscant night. There they stood, faced with endless possibilities for fun.

"Oh yes, I do have something planned."

Xazor laughed and leaned over, kissing the false Dasquian upon the cheek. Slowly they walked, hand in hand, in the direction of a large casino/bar.

"I think it's time we had a little fun -- you've never been to a place like this, have you? Well, me neither -- perhaps we can cheat some dealers out of their money with a few Jedi mind tricks?"

The woman laughed as she thought of the room she had reserved for their enjoyment. A personal hot tub and a swimming pool in the room awaited them -- amongst other things.

"We have the entire night to ourselves."

The swell of noise coming from the casino was immense. The scent of cigarra smoke and liquor tainted the air, whilst the sounds of a sultry voice singing on-stage purred out into the night air. With his eyes growing wide, Aaron stared in through the open door way at the mass of people – men and women alike, gambling or simply enjoying what the bar and dance floor had on offer.

As the unlikely pair entered, with a few odd looks from the bouncer, Xazor explained quietly that she had ordered the two a room – a suite, no less – with all of the establishments’ trimmings and luxuries. For a fleeting moment guilt struck Aaron, as he imaged that Dasquian would have absolutely adored the evening that lay ahead of his twin brother right now. Of course, this moment of discontent passed in the blink of an eye, as Aaron became giddy and light-headed at the thought of the hot tub his partner for the evening had promised.

“However appealing that cheating sounds, I’m not sure I can wait to test out that tub,” Aaron laughed quietly as he walked with Xazor, keeping in close to her as they passed through the tightly packed crowds.

Xazor laughed to herself as the pair walked through the masses and made their way to a grand staircase. She eyed 'Dasquian' for a moment and smiled gently.

"If that is your heart's desire, than it shall be so. I had that in mind to begin with anyway."

She winked and took his hand, then led him up the stairs. Below their feet was red carpet with gold lining on either side. The handrails were even constructed of gold and gave the appearance of a mirror when one looked upon it. Once at the top, the Knight led him to the right down a large corridor lined with a few rooms. They walked until they reached the end and a door faced them. Xazor got the best room in the house tonight -- for it overlooked the illuminated city below. A card was slipped from her bosom -- a handy place to keep things such as it. Quickly she swiped it through the 'lock' on the door and access was granted.

"Here we are."

The woman said with a giddy laugh as she opened the door to something magnificent. Before their eyes was an enourmous room with plushy white carpet, a black leather couch, a table made of glass sitting before the couch, the hot tub in one corner, and in the other -- a large swimming pool with a waterfall and a slide. Xazor grinned and stepped into the suite, making room for 'Dasquian'. She shut the door behind them and hugged him tightly.

"This, my love -- is the endless possibilities that await us."

She said softly, looking to the far corner of the room where a bed resided. It's black sheets and red cusioned pillows drew her attention away from the rest very quickly -- but she calmed the wolf within her and looked to the hottub. Green ivy vines crawled along the perimeter of the ceiling of the room and traced along the tub and pool. The waterfall fell from a large rocky structure that looked completely realistic.

"Isn't it beautiful?"

An appreciative whistle passed through Aaron’s pursed lips. The person who had built this room certainly had done it with a good amount of thought in mind; it was crafted to stimulate the mind and body and set the occupants in the exact right mood for … whatever they should choose to do within the confines of the room. Slipping his arm out from Xazor’s, the Jedi paced forward across the carpet - no, hesitated before he trod onto the carpet and tugged his boots off before carrying on over the plush surface.

“This is… amazing,”

As he wandered across the room, he could feel Xazor’s eyes upon him, and thus stretched his body flexing it outwards, his arms spreading into the air before falling into a cocky position on his hips. Very slightly tilting his head to the side, he side glanced over his shoulder.

“So many things to do, so little time…”

Xazor held her breath as Aaron stretched -- flexing all the muscles that she could visibly see -- and she imagined the rest. Canting her head to the side the Knight removed her sandles and gently walked upon the soft carpet below her feet. She came upon behind 'Dasquian' and slipped her arms through his and around his waist -- pressing his body close to hers.

"It is amazing -- and though it seems like we have little time -- we have the entire night. Who said we had to sleep?"

She giggled before pulling away and allowing a seductive smile to cross her lips. No guilt, felt she, though thoughts of Terran resided in the back of her mind.

"So what shall we do first, hmmmm? Perhaps a glass of champaigne and a hottub?"

The Knight questioned, pulling away from Aaron and walking over to a small personal bar where bottles of the finest whines and champaigns rested in a glass cooler. Glasses hung from hooks above the woman's head and she pulled down two and drew a bottle from the cooler.

"Yes?"

With his confidence growing now, Aaron nodded as he followed over to the bar. He leant his elbows down against the counter top and watched Xazor as she poured out the champagne. As if it wasn’t obvious, he was mentally imagining what was beneath her robes. Each of the Jedi spent so much time training it would have been hard for their bodies not to be toned.

Taking it upon himself to wander off for a moment to inspect the tub, he spotted some incense and other herbal items at the waters edge – truly the staff were aiming to create the perfect atmosphere with such abundance of aphrodisiacs. With his hands in his pockets he looked down into the water, at the lightning beneath the slowly forming bubbles, and smiled to himself.

This was going to be a good night.

Xazor grinned after pouring the cool liquid into both glasses. Glancing over to Aaron, she grasped a glass in each hand and walked over to him.

"Here, my love."

She said softly, handing a crystal glass to her love. Smiling still, the woman held her drink out to him and motioned for a toast.

"To us -- and our future."

The woman said softly, noticing out of the corner of her eye all the goodies the staff had supplied them with. She smiled as a giddy feeling rose in her chest -- indeed, this would be a great night.

The two glasses made a gentle clink as they touched together in the toast, before Aaron lifted the champagne flute to his lips for a small sip. It had been a rule that he and Dasquian had followed, up until now, not to indulge in alcohol – for it clouded the mind – or any luxuries for that matter. He was sure that as of late that Dasquian would have broken this vow, with his Council position undoubtedly affording him certain pleasures, and thus Aaron was comfortable in doing the same thing.

Kneeling down by the tub in front of him, Aaron picked up one of the bottles arranged there. It was a bath scent, and a fruity one at that – some kind of berry. Popping the cork out of the top he poured a little into the water and watched as a wonderful violent hue spread through the current.

“… Impressive.”

Xazor giggled to herself as she lifted the glass to her lips and gently took a sip of the cool liquid. It was delicious and a seductive "mmmm" sound resounded from within the Jedi Knight. Her eyes slowly drifted to the bubbles now rising up within the hot tub before she set the glass down beside it.

"Perhaps I should change into my bathing suit?" She questioned with a sly grin upon her face. Gently the woman placed her hand upon 'Dasquian's' as she sought an answer. "Unless, of course, you prefer to skip those -- formalities." Xazor giggled once again as her cheeks flushed red.

Aaron dipped one hand down into the water. It was almost scolding to the touch, but it was the type of heat that though it was scathing for a second or two it quickly became more soothing as the body adjusted to the temperature. The smile on his face grew as he heard Xazor’s little moan, followed by entirely enticing words.

“Whatever you feel more comfortable with,” he replied, with a glance back over his shoulder, his blue eyes glinting with a subdued excitement.

"It matters not to me at all, my love. I am nothing you haven't seen before." She laughed as thoughts of their baby drifted into her mind. Smiling to herself, the Jedi Knight's clothes soon found themselves upon the floor rather than her body. With another giggle, the woman slipped into the hot waters and sighed heavily. It was indeed, scolding, but after a moment's time, it felt so good.

"Won't you join me, good sir?" She invited with another laugh as bubbles formed around her and clung to her soft skin. This would be one exciting night, and it had turned out perfectly.

Aaron Belargic

Aaron gawked. It took him a good few moments to correct himself from staring, as an almost lewd smile very unbefitting of Dasquian spread over his lips. What Aaron was unaware of was that soon, very soon, his masquerade would come undone – and he wouldn’t even get to spend a minute in the bubbles before it did.

Where Xazor had undressed quickly Aaron was left with the difficult task of stripping out of robes, armor, and numerous other trappings with belts, buckles and a score of other ties that would not for the life of them could undone quickly. When he was down to just a loose shirt and his trousers, with nothing else, he made his fatal mistake.

“It’s been far too long since we did this.”

They had never done this – but Aaron had no knowledge of this. All of the alcohol and the atmosphere had gotten to him and the lie had caught up with him. Whether or not Xazor would notice was uncertain, but Aaron was blissfully unaware, as he removed his shirt, that he was quite likely about to be caught.

Xazor smiled as she caught the gawking look upon her lover's face. Indeed, he had not seen her in such a way for nearly a year. She felt no shame, though, and knew he loved her for more than her body. The woman moved over a bit to allow room enough for him to join her when he finished undressing. Her eyes watched his every movement as he unbuckled buckles and untied tied. She occasionally glanced up at his face as he smiled and took pleasure in the thought of the time they would now spend together, so close -- nearly as close as a couple could get. It took her full trust to allow him to even look at her when scantily clad, much less naked. Soon he was down to a shirt and a slightly wrinkled pair of trousers. Smiling still, the woman awaited him to remove the rest of his garments so she could trace her eyes over his perfectly carved body, something she missed seeing, in all honesty. Just as he was about to remove his shirt, though, he spoke, and what he said caught her a bit off-guard.

"It's been far too long since we did this."

The Knight stopped smiling and allowed her eyes to fall to the ground for a moment as she engaged in deep thought, attempting to remember a time where they actually did this. "Is my memory failing me already?" She thought as her mind continued searching. The only time she could think of similar to this would be the time they took a dip in a natural pool at the bottom of some falls on Arcan IV. With a puzzled look, Xazor's eyes slowly slinked up 'Dasquian's' body until they came to meet his own set. "Do -- do you know something that I don't? Perhaps my memory is failing me, but -- I do not recall a time when we've done this." Her words came out with a bit of frustration. "Perhaps my accident took that memory from me." She thought to herself, but then recalled that she had remembered nearly everything, and maybe more, of their relationship. Sighing inwardly, the Jedi shook her head and eyed him once again. Suddenly a disturbing feeling coursed through her veins as the Force seemed to tap her on the shoulder with a message that she could not decipher at that moment. "Something isn't right. Maybe he's had too much to drink -- or maybe it's me."

"Are you -- okay? You've been acting slightly -- out of character, all evening. You're not yourself, Dasquian. I hope you aren't sick or something. It's just -- subtle things, though. The way you do things, the way you move, the way you've spoken to me. If you think I'm unhappy with who you were, please, do not change -- I love who you are." She said with a smile as her eyes fell down his body once again until they came to rest upon the weapons belt beside his feet now. A curious expression crossed her face as she caught a glimpse of his lightsaber. It looked -- different. Putting this from her mind, though, the Knight came to the conclusion that she had had too much alcohol. "Never mind it, though. Let us enjoy ourselves now."

Aaron Belargic
Jun 1st, 2003, 12:27:40 PM
Aaron throat tightened up. He stopped in his tracks, not daring to look back at Xazor as she spoke to him. Her last words eased his conscience some, but evidently it was clear he was not as good at imitating Dasquian as he’d previously thought he was. If this was all accountable to alcohol, however, that would do for tonight – but he couldn’t always fall back onto that crutch. Exhaling deeply, the ‘Knight’ turned and flashed Xazor a smile before shimmying out of his trousers and easing down into the bath.

“Ouchouchouch… hot,” he bit his lip as he slipped down under the water so that only the upper half of his chest and above was visible.

Another long breath out and Aaron turned to look to Xazor; gazing into those beautiful cyan eyes with his own. They were sat so close now, closer than Aaron had ever been to Xazor with the two speaking or some such thing. He was far too nervous to do anything except simply gaze at her, with unblinking cerulean eyes.

Xazor Elessar
Jun 10th, 2003, 12:44:47 PM
"Your nervous! Is something wrong?" A slight laugh escaped the Knight's lips but soon her smile faded as her eyes fixed upon the top of Aaron's left shoulder. Her glowing orbs traced along a scar that appeared weathered and healed quite a long time ago.

"Where did you get that?" She questioned, raising her arm out of the water so to bring her hand to gently rest upon his chest as her finger touched the scar. Patiently she waited for his answer but soon pulled her hand from him. "Something's wrong -- you're keeping something from me. What is it? You know you can tell me anything!" She pleaded quietly, her voice remaining in its gentle tone. The woman had to know, and she would do anything to find out what was going on.

Aaron Belargic
Jun 10th, 2003, 12:50:07 PM
Again he felt his throat close on itself as he choked out an incoherent word or two, laughing slightly. He reclined, away from Xazor’s touch, as he looked down at the strike scar given in his imprisonment in the Imperial compound.

“Nono- everything is fine.”

His mind told otherwise of course, and by now his thoughts would have been screaming at Xazor. IT was impossible for him to guard them when he was so panicked.

Xazor Elessar
Jun 10th, 2003, 01:03:48 PM
Suddenly Xazor sat back and her eyes opened wide at Aaron. She gasped slightly and eyed him, unsure exactly what was wrong -- she still could not put her finger on it, that is, until his thoughts practically stung her mind. Closing her eyes for a moment, the woman waded through them until she finally saw images, heard words, and felt things like never before.

"Who -- who are you? I -- I don't know you anymore." She shook her head as her eyes looked upon him sadly.

ooc: we were supposed to get close and then fight so she would think it was Das, remember? :lol
