Edit ~ In all fairness, I've never liked any 80's rock much. No Led Zepplin, no Guns N Roses, no Pink Floyd, no Pearl Jam. I like Alice Cooper, but I think I'm in the minority, there.

Pearl Jam was 90's... they hit they're peak around the same time Nirvana did... although they're still pretty good, and I'm gonna see them this summer when they go on tour.

I guess 80's rock, in my mind, is defined by hair-bands... Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Poison, The Scorpions, Motley Crue, G&R... I don't really consider Zeppelin and Pink Floyd in that category... different musical styles and themes from the "excess, living-it-up" rock that defined the 80's.

I'm not a huge Alice Cooper fan, but I do like a few songs...

For the most part I despise 80's rock except for GnR and Metallica. Pearl Jam is early 90's, and although they could have been the band of the decade, or even of our era IMO they've fallen off the map. Poor bastards.
