Narf= I passed the written part flawlessly but had two sadistic road reviewers who failed me... and I haven't gone back since.

took me three tries, car almost hit me first one and was not my fault, two failed for not knowing how to parallel park which actually is not required on the test but I got the same ebil lady twice, third time easy as hell.....

Failed the written the first time, then passed. Then I did the driving part with fair ease.

I've noticed that most of my friends' experiences are that Guys have a harder time with the written part and Girls have a more difficult time in the car itself.

I personally hate driving. Not me, it's the other people that worry me. I just don't like being out on the road without a broadsword or something... :D

No problems for me on either of the tests , although I did have to reschedule my behind-the-wheel test because, of all things, the horn on my car decided to stop working before I took it... the guy wouldn't let me take the test because of it. I could understand his point, but I recall being rather pissed for the remainder of the day.

Thats what I say. I see someone do a STUPID thing on the road, and I turn to my drive (my mom or dad) and say, "I cant get my permit but they let HIM drive." It ticks me off.

Yeah, my brother was driving me to my Piano lesson, when he turned a corning in the rain, not trying to fish tale, and spun out, almost running into a curp. It was really funny because we just sat there as traffic went by us untill he backed up and we were off. :lol

Thats loosing controll of the car, which is not cool. Its pretty hard to fishtale unless the car is rear-wheel drive. What kind of car does he have?

A handbrake turn, on the other hand, leaves you sliding sidewaysish till you kill it. There wasn't much traffic on US1, so I made a handbrake turn onto the street where my bank is.

I hate to brag so I'm not going to. Though since other ppl are posting how they did on there road test, I might as well as well. But I'm wondering when they started using computers for the written portion?? I'm not old but I had to do mine by hand, no computer. Passed both the written and the road test first shot though I didn't want to get my license because of all the bad drivers out in the world today. I'm a cyclist so my temper can flare up pretty bad at drivers who are mean to cyclists.
