I believe if you're banned you can still view the boards, just not post in them.

If you are banned you cannot view threads when signed into your name.

However, if not signed in, you can view all threads not in locked forums as a guest.

Gue was banned via name and IP, but his broadband connection appears to change his IP address on occasion, thus he was able to view the boards. I say was because I just spotted his new IP and have added it to the list of banned ones. Expect to hear some whinning if you talk to him in IM.

In the case of a name banning it would be true, in the case of an IP banning Silus is correct.

He could always just get on at a school computer, or at a Internet Cafe. Its not like we could close anyone off as if it was a Iron Curtain. For all we know Itala, or Gue, could be already sneaking back on.

If he's sneaking on, but behaving... *shrugs* whatever. you cant stop someone if they are detirmined to post. Personally I couldnt care unless they misbehave. As soon as they do, smack them out of the ball park again
