Daiquiri Trelane-Fel

Married to Vega Van Derveld
Mother of Katina Van Derveld

Resident of Fascinataru
Member of ShadowFaene Fortress

Adept in the Force
Weapons: Lightsaber, blaster, two daggers

Mother: Celeste Trelane (deposed)
Father: Fel (first name unknown)
Half brother: Baron Soontir Fel

Born into royalty on the planet Vendakaar, Daiquiri was the only daughter of the reigning Queen. The crown passed from mother to daughter since the government was matriarchal. Contacted by the Queen, the Jedi Council randomly sent out 'teachers' for the young Princess once her Force sensitivity was discovered. Daiquiri's training in the Lightside began in exchange for Vendakaars' help and hospitality for the Jedis.

Required by law to be married by her 21st birthday, the then 18 year old Princess went off planet to search for a mate. While on her mission, Vendakaar was attacked by a band of roving, none-affilitated Dark Jedi. The Queen was killed and a search launched to find Princess Daiquiri (LOL!) by the marauders, eager to severe all legitimate claims to the crown.

In two seperate 1-1 fights, the Princess miraculously killed two of her pursuers and kept one of their lightsabers for herself. An execellent pilot and strong on intuition, Daiquiri kept ahead of her attackers and eventually 'lost' them.

Stopping for supplies while on her way to Coruscant to ask the Jedi Council for help in retaking her home planet, she literally ran into Hera DrenKast. Words were exchanged, followed by a brief scuffle and they parted with Hera heaping curses on the girl's head.

Later that night while eating alone on her ship, Daiquiri came to several conclusions, among them that she was very disillusioned by the lack of support from the Jedi when word had been sent that Vendakaar had fallen. Her second conclusion was that although she had made it on her own so far, she desperately needed a mentor, someone who could show the deposed Princess how to truly be independent. Lastly, Daiquiri had to admit to herself that she had thoroughly enjoyed the spontaneously angry shoving match between herself and DrenKast.

Haunting the street where she had met the female, Daiq spent the entire next day waiting and watching for the blonde to show. It was after dark when Hera swaggered into a bar, across from where Daiquiri stood. Taking a deep breath, the slightly younger woman sat down at DrenKast's table, with the offer of a drink and began telling her story. With the promise of her ship as payment, Hera agreed to take the 'greenhorn' under her wing for a six month span.

Six months came and went and a friendship grew between Hera, Daiquiri and Eve, another ally and friend of DrenKast's.

The rest is history.

Thats great Daiq - I like the planet name, has a good ring.

Gives a good feel for where Daiq comes from (I mean that in the psychological sense - her attitude etc).

I like it :)

Are you gonna write more? Chapter 2 ?

Just wanted to add this....its a Daiq kind of song :)

No New Year's Day to celebrate
No chocolate covered candy hearts to give away
No first of spring
No song to sing
In fact here's just another ordinary day

No April rain
No flowers bloom
No wedding Saturday within the month of June
But what it is, is something true
Made up of these three words that I must say to you

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart

No summer's high
No warm July
No harvest moon to light one tender August night
No autumn breeze
No falling leaves
Not even time for birds to fly to southern skies

No Libra sun
No Halloween
No giving thanks to all the Christmas joy you bring
But what it is, though old so new
To fill your heart like no three words could ever do

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care, I do
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care, I do
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart, of my heart,
of my heart

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care, I do
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart, of my heart,
baby of my heart

Orleans: Still The One

We've been together since way back when
Sometimes I never want to see you again
But I want you to know, after all these years
You're still the one I want whisperin' in my ear

You're still the one I want to talk to in bed
Still the one that turns my head
We're still having fun, and you're still the one

I looked at your face every day
But I never saw it 'til I went away
When winter came, I just wanted to go
Deep in the desert, I longed for the snow

You're still the one that makes me laugh
Still the one that's my better half
We're still having fun, and you're still the one

You're still the one that makes me strong
Still the one I want to take along
We're still having fun, and you're still the one (yes you are!)

Changing, our love is going gold
Even though we grow old, it grows new

You're still the one that I love to touch
Still the one and I can't get enough
We're still having fun, and you're still the one

You're still the one who can scratch my itch
Still the one and I wouldn't switch
We're still having fun, and you're still the one

You're still the one that makes me shout
Still the one that I dream about
We're still having fun, and you're still the one...

I Put Your Picture Away

Livin' my life in a slow hell
Different girl every night at the hotel
I aint seen the sunshine in 3 damn days
Been fuelin' up on cocaine and whisky
Wish I had a good girl to miss me
Lord I wonder if I'll ever change my ways
I put your picture away
Sat down and cried today
I can't look at you, while I'm lyin' next to her
I put your picture away, sat down and cried today
I can't look at you while I'm lyin' next to her

I called you last night in the hotel
Everyone knows but they wont tell
But their half hearted smiles tell me
Somethin' just ain't right
I been waitin' on you for a long time
Fuelin' up on heartaches and cheap wine
I ain't heard from you in 3 damn nights
I put your picture away
I wonder where you been
I can't look at you while I'm lyin' next to him
I put your picture away
I wonder where you been
I can't look at you while I'm lyin' next to him

I saw ya yesterday with an old friend

It was the same ole same "how have you been"

Since you been gone my worlds been dark and grey

You reminded me of brighter days

I hoped you were comin' home to stay
I was headed to church

I was off to drink you away

I thought about you for a long time
Can't seem to get you off my mind
I can't understand why we're living life this way
I found your picture today
I swear I'll change my ways
I just called to say I want you to come back home
I found your picture today
I swear I'll change my ways
I just called to say I want you to come back home
I just called to say, I love you come back home

End of the World

Why does the sun go on shining
Why does the sea rush to shore
Don't they know it's the end of the world
When you don't love me anymore

Why does my heart go on beating
Why do these eyes of mine cry
Don't they know it's the end of the world
It ended when you said goodbye

I wake up in the morning and I wonder
Why everything's the same as it was
And I can't understand, no I can't understand
Why life goes on the way it does

Why do the birds go on singing
Why do the stars shine above
Don't they know it's the end of the world
It ended when I lost your love

Don't they know it's the end of the world
It ended when you said goodbye

You Aint Woman Enough To Take My Man

You've come to tell me something
You think I ought to know
]He don't love me anymore and it's time for me to go.
You say you're gonna take him
But I don't believe you can
Cause you ain't woman e-nough to take my man.

Women like you are a dime a dozen
You can buy 'em anywhere
For you to get to him, I'd have to move over
And I'm gonna stand right here.
It'll be over my dead body, so get out while you can.
Cause you ain't woman e-nough to take my man.

Sometimes a man's caught lookin'
At things that he don't need
He took a second look at you
But he's in love with me
I don't know where that leaves you
But I know where I stand
And you aint woman enough to take my man

Women like you are a dime a dozen
You can buy 'em anywhere
For you to get to him, I'd have to move over
And I'm gonna stand right here.
It'll be over my dead body, so get out while you can.
Cause you ain't woman e-nough to take my man.

No, you ain't woman enough to take my man.
