Something out of the ordinary attracts me (Soolin)

When was the last time he was here? Quite some time now, the visits to the GJO were becoming rarer and rarer, plus there was no way anymore he was coming here without some form of disguise or concealing. Thence the cloak and the fact he was here in the depths of the night. The darkness also suited him, for he could uncover his eyes for a while and walk normally. Only when the darkness was extreme tho, the area he was in had the lights of Coruscant reflectiong on it, even that was too much to tolerate. The cloak he was wearing rustled as he brushed a pole, moving swiftly and silently

Soolin Anjhurin. He had read somethign of her in the archives when he was quietly searching for somethign else, had read she didn't quite see the Jedi ways as others did. That had gotten is curiosity, with some other quiet investigation had found she didn't even live in the Living Quarters, like everyone else. She lived in her ship. Strange behavior for a Jedi. Like my behsvour was normal he noted.

Which was why he was now approachign the frieghter.

Now... will I knock or let myself in?

"Can I help you?"

:: The voice came from behind Marcus, and when he turned, he saw a woman standing there. She was tall, and clad in dark colors, not the light beige worn by the Order. A white wolf was by her side ::

[Marcus Telcontar]

"Yes, you might be able to" he said, his voice muffled in part by the hood over his head, "I'm looking for a Soolin Anjhurin and I believe I might find her here. Am I correct in thinking so?"

[Soolin Anjhurin]

:: She raised a brow, and studied the man briefly before answering ::


"I am Soolin."

[Marcus Telcontar]

So this was her. He too studied this woman, before replying again, deciding the direct and no nonsense approach would be the best.

"I come in peace madam Jedi - I wish to speak with you. I have heard you dont quite see the ways of a Jedi the same as others do - please dont think of that as an insult, I don't either. I came here to find out if it is true"

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"It is true that I am an outsider here. All my clan were Crusaders."

:: The doors to the ship open and the she-wolf pads inside ::

[Marcus Telcontar]

A wolf? Strange. Only ever seen Garou keep wolves.

"Good, I'm not mistaken then. Could we step somewhere more private than out here, so I might speak more openly?"

:: Soolin nods, and leads Marcus inside. It becomes quickly apparant that this ship was once a Bounty Hunter's vessel, and that little modification had been made since it's aquisition. The large area had been converted into a makeshift dojo, with matting in the center and various training equipment all around. Walking into the next room, she takes a seat at a small table ::

He paused at the door, getting a feel of the layout of the room via the Force. He stepped confiddently inside, even if the images in his mind were sort of hazy.

Seemed to be some knid of training setup. Interesting.

"My apologies for the cloak and dagger my lady, but I'm not exactly well known within the Jedi halls. I wish to keep it that way. I suspect I wuld unsettle them. My name is Marcus Elessar, Jedi Master. Although, if you haven't heard of that before, I'm sure another name I used a long time ago you might have. Turbogeek"

[Soolin Anjhurin]

:: Her expression was blank, showing no recognition of his name. Or his alias ::

[Marcus Telcontar]

"No? Oh well... that might be for the best then."

Not sitting, he looks about with the Force, assessing the area.

"I' told that you are a warrior at heart and that you do not tolerate evil to exist. Tell me of this, if you will, tell if it's true"

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"It seems you've been told many things, Master Elessar."

:: she was respectful, but she was also wary ::

"What else have you been told?"

"Not much more, that is why I have come. I know enough for me to be curious and wonder about you. Thence, i wish to know more. But that requires trust and I dont know if you would trust a stranger, even a Jedi Master."

"Nay, not just a Jedi Master" he added quietly. "A Jedi Warlord."

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"Warlords by nature are self-serving and cruel. They are not Jedi Masters."

[Marcus Telcontar]

"And neither are husbands and lovers, adopted father or farmer . And yet, I'm all that as well and more" He stared stragiht at her, gaze not shifting. Odd, when he didnt need his eyes, or could even use them in this light. "My cruelty is reserved for the evil ones and I want to be able to raise nerfs and spend the rest of my days tillign the earth, knowing the children - including the one that is in my care - of the Galaxy are safe from evil. If that's self-serving, then I am proud of it!"

"I am not here to bandy words - I am looking for those who share the passion and commitment I have to rid evil. Is that what you want as well?"

[Soolin Anjhurin]

:: Soolin meets Marcus' gaze with her own and speaks the clan oath she swore ten cycles ago, the day she became a Jedi ::

"By blood oath we are bound, held by more than mortal bands.
For the vow we swore was crowned by god fires upon our hands.
To defend or avenge."

[Marcus Telcontar]

"interesting. Tell me, what made you take such an oath?"

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"It was my Brother's calling, and I took it with him."

[Marcus Telcontar]

IC : Here came the kicker - the question that would decide what to do from here.

"Do you think the Jedi will help you fulfil that oath?"

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"I did not take the oath lightly, Master Elessar."

[Marcus Telcontar]

"You didnt answer my question. I asked if the Jedi would help you fulfil that oath. Well, can they? Or would there be something else, something more that would help you fulfil it

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"Less art from you would be more fitting for a man of your station. The path of a Jedi is to preserve and protect. What path do you walk?"
