Ok, this may sound silly, but...

In MS Word, you have a document, and in this particular document you have the word "jump" mentioned several times through said document.

Now, lets say you want to change each of these words of "jump" to say "dig".

Now i know there's a way to actually do this without having to go through all 5 or 10 pages of the document manually replacing "jump" with "dig".

So, my question is, what steps do I take to accomplish this?

I liked the dog. At School we used to have races to who could make the big bang sound on each of them :)

The ball and the dog both had an animation that made a HUGE bang if you turned up the volume :)

(I too have the kitty. :))

And I did ask the Help Assitant. But after about 10 minutes of searching, I figured I'd prob get a faster and more direct answer by asking here. And I did. :)

I kill that useless waste of processor power the instant I install a MS Office product.

Not even close. It is far from cute and far from helpful, especially for someone who supported MS Office produts on a technical basis for quite a long time. It makes annoying noises and wastes processor power that could be better served for multi tasking.

But where's the love in that cold, soulless window? :)

I'm not looking for love in a MS Office application. I'm looking for it to be a useful tool. The Office assistant is far from useful.

Case in point; this thread. LV consulted the Office Assistant regarding her problem and got nowhere, while I was able to lead her in the right direction with two words.

I prefer to hear advice froma dog in spandex and cape! As I type, he watches me, ready to protect me from errors! I sit here, but moments from singing to it "Did you ever know you're my hero?"

Now, EINSTEIN? Gah, remove him. And the window, and the planet. Pointless and dull.

Dull = fact of life in the real working world.

If you're looking for love in MS Office, I'm sure you can find some good ASCII pr0n :)

Well, the most intresting thing I expect to be saying when I get work is "Do you want fries with that", so I have to rely on word processing programs for me kicks.

And the thread goes to heck faster then you can say...

Oh and I turn the helper into the Kitty too. :)
