NCAA Tournament Picks First Round Games picks must be in by Thursday at Noon

Well the NCAA tourney selection show is a week away, so I am curious does anybody want to do a NCAA tournament pick um kind of like we did for the NFL? Okay here is what it will be the games begin next Thursday (although there is a play in game have to find out about what day that is for). You would have to pick by 12EST on the day the games start. Now you can pick both Thursday and Friday games by 12 PM EST on Thursday if you wish. It gets more complicated for Saturday and Sunday as you won't know who is playing on Sunday until Friday night. So you can either pick all the weekend games after the Friday games are final or pick Saturday's games first on Friday and then Sunday's games on Saturday, picks would have to be in before the first tip off. It would work the same for the following week, it would only change the last weekend, the final four. Does that make sense? Any Questions?

If not I will post the play in game and the rest of the field next sunday.

I'd be game... I'm not sure how many others would, since you really have to be on top of things, with two rounds over four days the first and second weekends. You miss even one day, especially the first weekend, and your screwed.

I expect the number of lower seeds (9-16) advancing in this years tourney to be higher than nearly any other. Now, I doubt the 1 vs. 16 streak will be broken, considering that the #1 seeds will likely be Arizona, Kentucky, Texas and either Kansas or Oklahoma. But, I can see a couple of 13/14/15 seeds winning a game.

Gotta see how the conference tourney's play out first, though. :)

Who won last year? I remember it was pretty close. Heck I seem to reall there being a logjam near the top.

I believe Figrin scraped out a victory but I'm not certain. You can bet I'm in for the contest. :D

With UCLA upsetting Arizona in the PAC-10 tourney, the Ducks beating Arizona State, then the Ducks had the chance to play UCLA, who they've already beat twice, and after being down 11 points with 3:12 to go in the game, the Ducks came back and won with a 3 at the 17 second mark. :)

Okay its time for the fun, now the first games are on Thursday, I thought about adding the play in game but that is Tuesday and I have decided not to put in so if you think that the winner of that game could beat Texas (if that is possible), go ahead and pick Play in winner,
Also I am going to make easy I am going to copy each Region and put the teams that way just put a W next to the team you think will advance. So good luck you have until about noon on Thursday to make your picks. You can just pick Thursdays games if you want but you can't pick Friday's games at the same time you will have to pick Friday's games in a seperate post (no editing). As far as Saturday and Sundays games I am going to keep those seperate on Thursday after we know who is going to play who I will post the games for Saturday and will post Sunday seperate mostly to give you guys some time to get your picks, in. I will put that in a seperate post mostly to make it easier for you guy to figure it out.
Finally if there is anybody who would like to volunteer to help me keep track of all this I would be very thankful :)
