The Vampire stood in the center of a building that had been deserted long ago. His cloak, the color of the night, was draped around him. Covering his body. His saber was at his side, dangling from his belt clip that kept it by him always. The walls were decaying, the furniture was in shabbles. The only thing that was still intact was the statues that lined the walls. Made out of the finest marble, the statues were of men in battle. Their armor was of an ancient texture, their armor was inscribed with elaborate and ornamental hirogliphs. They held blades that were to their sides, but looked so real. He looked up towards the heavens, a part of his medatating ritual and said a word in the ancient Sith tounge. A language that most beings in the galaxy did not even know existed.

The weather was nubilous this day. The clouds were gathering in the sky above him, preparing for the precipitation process that made up the water cycle of this world. He knew that it would rain soon, but when was a different story. He opened his fierce eyes, and looked around. He was now ready. Now was the time to kill. Ambrose Braeden reached out with the force and sent waves out to all beings that devoted themselves to the light side as they reffered to it. In his oppinion, they were pittiful. They were like a needle that was poking him in the torso. A needle in which he would have removed. And removed permenantly.

As he said his last syllable, a line of servants dressed in moth eaten rags, made their way to the back wall, behind the Vampire standing in the center. 'They are mirely scum off of the street' the Vampire Warrior thought as the simbiont beings laid down their offerings one by one. Praying to their god all the while that he might come and free them of their misery. As one passed by him as he was praying, Ambrose threw his right arm outward and wrapped his hand around the pittiful beings neck. Pulling him close, he could feel the blood surge throughout his body. His white teeth sank into the delicat tan skin of the human. The blood touched his lips and he drank. He pulled free of the dead man, the carcas falling helplessly to the ground. Landing with a thud. He whiped the blood from the side of his mouth.

Dalamar stood at the end of the row the statues of warriors where crumbling to dust around him. His eye's where shut as he was lost in thought. The weather whipped his black velvet cloak tightly around his body. He thought of the days when these still warriors where created. Emperor Yang thought his empire would last forever. But like all humans time took his victories away. No one even remembered Yang except a few historians and Dalamar. The Warlord was there the day he took the cities. Yang was a friend of his with a bloodlust to match his own. But soon age turned him old and withered. The Warlord missed him, his friend gone now for 3000 yrs. The statue at the head of the column had been of him but the storms had worn away his facial features. A grand warrior holding a stone sword. His laughter never to be heard again.

Melacholy settled over the vampyre. Something that had seldom bothered him before was starting to weigh on him. The passing of the one's he cared for soon touched even a Dark Lord's heart....

He could sence the Vampire Lord's presence when he arrived here. Ambrose was reaching out for the force, and he could feel it pulse within himself and all around him. He ignited his lightsaber, the maroon blade extending from the hilt of the lightsaber. The blade was weightless against his strength. With Vampire speed, he ran over to where the Vampire lord stood and was striking in a downward blow.

Dalamar sensed the loud trudging of his fellow vampyre. He heard the faint hiss of a lightsaber being ignited. Stll Dalamar did not move seemingly lost in thought. Ambrose bared down on him with ever increasing speed.

The Warlord raised his arm in his direction the light of his activated gauntlet could be clearly seen. Ambrose eyes travelled the length of the Vampyre's arm where he saw a mischevious smile. A small puff a smoke was all he saw before the slender steel spike struck him in the throat. Knocking him on his backside.

"What are you up to Ambrose? Is eternal life already boring you, that you would attack me!?

As Ambrose rises from his prior position on the floor. Using his free hand, he gave a tug at the deadly spike that was stuck into his throat. The deadly weapon gave way to the Vampires strength as he pulled with little ease. The material of the spike lay smoothly in the palm of his hands. The Vampire found it humorous that the spike was meant to do any damage to the undead being. Ambrose was not getting bored with being immortal, he was just trying to prove himself to his master, and to himself. He wanted to know how well he would stand to a Vampire of Dalamars stature. He was after all, a Vampire Lord. He was one of oldest immortals at the shrine. And the Dark Gift gets stronger with us all as we go along.

With the spike still in hand, Ambrose threw the deadly weapon. The spike left his hand like a speeding bullet. It slammed into the gauntlet that Dalamar had just used against Ambrose. Sparks flew everywhere from the impact of the spike. The weapon was given such force, it had come out of the other side of the Vampire lords wrist. The spike had gone all the way through.

Vampires were always quick healers, and that proved to the Vampire warriors advantage. As the spike lay imbedded in the wrists of Dalamar, the skin around the wound started healing itself. The skin started growing atop of the metal object.

With that distracting him, Ambrose came up with his saber, about to slash down on the wounded wrist of the Vampire lord.

An audible click was heard as Dalamar's boot blade appeared. Doing a spinning side kick he sliced across Ambrose's throat and continued on with the kick knocking the lightsaber out of his hand.

The crack of his fellow vampyre's neck shocked him. Dalamar had not meant to strike him that hard. Blood gushed from his neck and head as he instantly cluthced at his throat to stop the flow.

This attack was a favorite of Dalamar's he had used it on many victims before he fed. He never thought that he would use it on one of his own. The warrior gurgled something as he choked on his own bloody words. Dalamar stood there staring as he slowly pulled his sword from over his back.....

Ambroses world almost faded, if it wasnt for his ornate ability as a Vampire to heal rapidly, he would have died on that very spot. His throat healed from the gash that Lord Dalamar had just done to him. Rolling his eyes upward just enough to see his foe, the Vampire Warrior could see Dalamar unsheathing his sword from its scabbard. The blade of the silver katana sparkled in the light of the room. The blade was the weapon of choice for the Vampire Lord, and Dalamar would soon find out what the weapon Ambrose would choose.

Spinning around and pulling his Sith Dagger from its holster on his side, he came around a full three hundred and sixty degrees, sticking his arm outward and muttering a spell of his, known to most people as Infectious Wound, it was one that his Master, Lord Soth, had taught him long ago.

The blade made contact with the pale skin of the Vampire Lord and had sunk into the skin deep. Blood was flowing from the wound. Sith Daggers were much different than lightsabers. Lightsaber wounds will not blead. The heat from the wound will stop the blood from flowing out of the beings body. No, they were nothing like that. Sith Daggers would let the blood flow, and they could repel the blow of a lightsaber, if needed to. And if the weilder could manuver the blade in such a way.

Dalamar put his hand atop of the wound and his attention was drifted somewhat. That was all Ambrose needed to finish him off. Using the Darkside, Ambrose flung his arm outward to meet his other arm that was weilding the small but deadly blade. Dalamar felt as if he was hit by a brick wall, and was flung backwards. In doing so, Dalamar had lost his grip on his sword and it dropped down to the ground with a clang. And as he fell, Dalamar held on to his wound in pain.

Dalamar hit the ground hard holding his side, dust stirred from the ground in a cloud. Ambrose's view obscurred so that he could not be seen. The dust settled and the Warlord was gone.

Dalamar leaned against the statue chanting in sith magic. He coughed a little blood the spell infectious wound was quite painful. Having done what he could for the pain. He pulled out his other Katana.

Ambrose had made a fatal mistake he had made Dalamar mad. Pulling the spike out of his arm the nanotechnolgy started to repair the gauntlet. His second Katana showed the gleam of his sharp teeth. Pulling his smaller sword out he placed it in a underhand position.

"Okay Ambrose lets rock." Dalamar stood out in the open behind the Warrior "Looking for something!" Dalamar let his sword spark on the ground as he moved towards him. His neon red eyes flashed at the young vampyre he was going to hurt him in a brand new way...

Ambrose could feel the familiar presence of the Vampire Lord moving towards him from behind. He could faintly see the shimering from the silver blade of Dalamars deadly Katana. Dalamar's foot steps grew louder as he slowly approached without caution. Ambrose knew that he had to do something before the Vampire Lord could reach him. If the mature Vampire Warrior let him get within striking distance, it would be a costly mistake.

Ambrose reached out for the force and could feel it encompass him. The force circulated throughout his entire body. Using the force to call his arcane weapon that was so familiar to him, the Vampire's saber hilt drifted towards him. His hand clasped over the hilt. With a flip of a switch atop the hilt of the weapon that was so dear to him, the maroon blade extended from the top of the lightsaber hilt. The blade pulsated with life as he held onto the weapon. Now was the time to react. And with deadly force, the Vampire Warrior would.

Reassuring himself, he could feel the Sith Dagger resting softly in his rough palm. His long nails wrapped themselves around the hilt of the blade, Dalamar's blood dripped from the embued blade of the dagger. With speed that was natural to him as a Vampire, Ambrose broght his lightsaber around, intending to sever the Vampire Lords arm from his body. If the blade made contact with the flesh of his opponent, it would be very good in the Vampire Warriors favor. But to his suprise, Dalamar raised his deadly Katana to pary the blow from Ambrose's arcane weapon. But in doing so, Ambrose did hte unexpected. Bringing his other arm around in the same motion as before, he cut the flesh of Dalamar's Extended arm that had a firm hold atop the Katana's hilt.

Twice! he had cut me twice already. Dalamar reached out with his taloned hand and clutched Ambrose by the throat. Making sure his sharp thumb was underneath the tender neck wound.
Ambrose reached up to counter the attack but to his suprise he suddenly felt numb. The Warlord had buried his smaller sword into his heart. Ambrose's blood covered the Warlord's chest and part of his face. A sadistic smile flashed accross his pale features. As Ambrose was bleeding out on the dusty floor. A small bit of panic could be seen in his eye's as he stared into the red death of Dalamars crimson sight. There was a fever that burned in those windows to the soul. The bloodlust was growing as his grip tightened.

Dalamar threw his body using his strength and the force he hurled Ambrose away from him. Unfortunately for Ambrose the Elder Vampyre held onto parts of his throat. He hit the statue's and landed with a wet sickening thud. He slid impaled on the stone swords of the statue army his life fading.

He would live if Dalamar let him be. It would take time but he would survive. The Elder Vampyre walked slowly towards Ambrose......
