Mockadane
Feb 19th, 2003, 01:59:13 AM
"WHITE DRAGON, from this world to the next my voice cries with life!"

The tip of the ebony bladed bastard sword drove into the ground with a slight shimmer... The training that Mockadane was to give, was well paid for in monetary value, and a crucial moment in these peoples existance....

Kneeling in front of his sword, The Mercinary silently spoke to an unseen person, and awaited those that Alana chose to send....

Out of the darkness Dirjj emerged with a curious look upon his face. Before him was an impressive figure kneeling in a genuflective manner before a sword driven into the ground. Alana had sent him to train with her uncle, Mockadane. Whom he concluded was the very figure kneeling before him now.

Dirjj was simply clad in black leather boots and roughspun pants with a white cotton lace-collared shirt. A lightsaber dangled freely from his right hip, clipped to a belt.

The recently turned fledgling always wore a distinct dark goatee that he constantly groomed and twisted, which gave him a much desired menacing appearance. Especially now with his rather blanched pale visage. He prided himself on his cold merciless approach to life and his violent tendencies. He was rather comfortable and enjoyed the darkness that the vampyre sith of the Shrine thrived upon. Dirjj had finally found a place in this universe where he could wreak all the havoc he desired and live amongst likeminded beings.

Sol steps in, pulling his hat low over his eyes. Training, is it? Sol carries his sword in hand. Valirion, being the paragon of vampiric perfection, has neglected to supply a sheath along with the weapon.

"Mockadane, is it not?"

The vampire warrior stopped in his tracks when he sences a familiar ripple through the force. He had only felt that sensation once before in the chambers of the Lordess Alana. It was her beloved uncle. Mockadane. He could also feel another familiar presence, a presence of a brother with the Dark Gift as people reftered to it. Sol Invictus. He stopped what he was doing at the moment and made his way through halls and ancient archways that would eventually lead him to the place where the two familiar beings were at.

Arriving at the Crimson Pitt, he walked through the ancient engraved door way. The markings on the face of the door were beautiful. They seemed as if they were as old as time. Stepping through the door way, he noticed another person. An unfamiliar person. He was a Vampire though.

The large man kneeling on the floor in front of his ebony bladed bastard sword, was none other than Mockadane. The mercinary who was uncle to Alana Stormcloud.

Mockadane, to what do i owe this visit?

He greets each one in turn. He stands, turning walking away from them knowing that there vampiric ears can hear each word he is saying from a much further distance.

"So you are the future protectors of this dark gift that all who dwell in this temple find so precious." Bending down and picking up something that was unseen by the three, Mockadane slowly approaches the men fastening it to his person.

"You may think you are immortal... You are not....! Dealing with adversity will be the divining point weather you live or die amongst the beings of this universe..." Closing the gap the mercenary watched the expressions on these men’s faces as the Ysalamiri force nulling effects washed over them.

Watching them grow wary of this empty void, The Big man holds a finger up in a sort of a calming geasture. The point Im going to prove to you today is that..." Putting a finger slowly over to the side of the dark moustached mans cheek , Mockadane Picked up what appeared to be a glowing red dot on the end of his fingertip. Slowly He pulled his finger away from the man and layed it upon Ambrose's chest where the dot remained.... "Is that ther is safty in numbers!"

Ambrose realized that the soarce of the red dot came from a lazer sighting device as it dissapeared from his sight.

The Death Knight intently watched the unfolding event's below him from an upper tier over the Blood Pit floor. An amusing grin played on his chiseled face as he look on. He knew the hulk of a man was here to demonstrate a purpose to the young Vampyre's he now confronted brazenly...A lesson of sort's...One they would never forget!

"Kill the beast and spoil the trap." Soth muttered under his breath as Mockadane pressed towards the three unsuspecting Vampyre's. However, that would prove easier said then done.

Dirjj squinted his eyes as the laser flinted across his cheek. He felt the presence of an Ysalamiri force nulling field once Mockadane began to approach. This laser was obviously attached to some weaponry hidden upon Mockadane.

The fledgling wondered what today's training would consist of --- as Mockadane spoke about safety in number and hinting upon teamwork. What designs did this accomplished bounty hunter have in mind for the three of them. Dirjj looked at Ambrose and Sol from the corner of his eyes. The fledgling had never been properly introduced to either of them. He cast his gaze back on Mockadane as the hunter passed the laser over each of them, ending precariously on Ambrose's chest.

As the large man placed the laser atop of his cheek, he knew that this would not prove to be easy by no means. This was a test of skill. A test of will. The Vampire warrior knew what this Bounty Hunter was and was not capable of. He thought back upon the night when he had handled a certain Garou with ease. He looked at the two fledgling Vampires and started reading their thoughts. He listened to what they were saying, even though they did not open their mouths one time. Ambrose hoped that the two would take this situation a little more seriously.

Mockadane...A great adversary you are, but an equal adversary, we are not...It is an unequall balance.

"Of course it's an uneven balance. He has the ability to kill us all where we stand..." Sol mutters. "If this is to be a fight..."

He draws his silver gun and fires on Mockadane.

The EM-4000 was a marvelous prototype, that rested well in Synteck's grip. The purely sniper's rifle was built with one purpous in mind, to take out the target in its sight from a long distance. The laser sight was just an intimidation factor he knew... a true assassin would give no indications of an assault, but this was Mockadanes game.

His instructions were clear... warning shots only, but hand to hand combat did'nt include blasters. The instant the one being pulled the shinning wheapon the sights locked its tracking onto it and with a slight squeese of the trigger, the blaster blew apart when the spent progectile slammed into its battery pack.

Spinning in an arc the blasters deadly bolt narrowly missed the Bounty Hunter by inches... luck must have been with him. The instant after Mockadane activated his right gauntlet, The bastard sword's handle was gripped firmly in it. The momentum of his turn coupled with the ebony bladed sword's girth... as he came full circle the the blade was going to rain havoc on these three unless they moved... and fast.

At three quarters turn the other gantlet was activated... Training had began!

He saw the huge bastard sword coming in his direction. If he did not move, and soon, he would be greatly injured. With the speed that is natural to him, Ambrose bent his body backwards. The explosion of the blaster pack and the flying shrapnal did not deture Ambrose's instinctive move from the path of the bastard sword. The sword came within inches of his nose. The tips of his hair that was still making its way down was cut away by the blade. He fell to the ground, and the wind was nocked out of his body by the pressure that was exurted while he hit the ground of the Blood Pitt.

Rolling away, out of striking distance of the sword that was slicing through the air with a whistling sound, he pushed himself up off of the ground with his arms and landed firmly on the ground with a thud. He looked up instinctively to see what had happened with comrad. If Dirjj did not move out of the path of the large sword, it would be a costly mistake.

Dirjj saw the huge man spinning as it were in slow motion, cigarra fell from the fledglings lips, and Dirjj instinctively ducked beneath the passing blade. At the the moment Ambrose was performing his rather distracting manuever. With vampyric prowess alone as the presence of a Force nullifying ysalimiri never was lost to him, Dirjj followed it up by launching himself at Mockadane's uppertorso.

Dirjj's right shoulder catching the big man under his large arms, hitting Mockadane with such a force that it lifted him off his feet and the fledgling drove him into a duracrete pillar. Dirjj thought he heard a loud crack. The fledgling bounced off and rolled away back on his feet wearing an obvious grimace over his tender shoulder. Hopefully, Mockadane didn't favor any better.

The blaster-clips energy discharged, blowing Sol Invictus back sending shrapnel to imbed in the flesh of his hand and arm. Slowly patting DOG's head, the Mercinary looked on at the events unfolding. The slight squinting of his eyes was followed by a smart-alyk remark as Mockadane slammed into a pillar.

"OH heck... that'll leave a mark !"

Eldorack calmed Synteck's comments of why he was doing this... in a simple phrase.

"It reminds him of his mortality, and besides He wants only the best people looking after his neice!"'
