NO SHIPS!!! Come on! They NEED SHIPS!!! yes I know its C&C Generals, and Not C&C Admirals, but I miss my Fleets...

Bah... A naval force would unballance everything.

Overall, it works good if you know what your doing.

The game is so sweet...I got it on Saturday and have been playing non-stop.

yeah i love the ability to capture buildings or put snipers in them, its great. about the navy, I heard they were saving that for the expansion pack.

It's a good game, but no story and a limited number of units are major drawbacks. Also there are some multiplayer problems (like getting disconnected everytime I try to play a game.) put those will be fixed in the patches (which they are already up to Ver 1.3).

And I miss the video cut scenes.... :(

It's a good game, just don't expect a lot out of it.

no story? doggonit, the thing I liked about C&C was the story. The previous games had excellent stories/video clips.

The Original Red Alert in my Opinion had the best story line. In Red Alert 2, I just got the feeling that they made the video last minute. Just didn't seem as realistic as the First one...

Edit: The Supah tank things for the Chinese is Awesome!!! Build 3, 1 has Propaganda Tower, other two have bunkers with Bazooka Troopers!!! It makes it nearly unstopable!!!
(Played at a friends house) You can run over enemy tanks!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

If you put bazooka troopers in the super chinese tank bunker, that makes them shoot bazookas, or just regular machine guns?

You see this stream of missiles and tank shells just blast out.

A.I. Is really... really... really stupid compard to Warcraft though.

My fav unit is the GLA Rockey Buggy, in numbers they are better than bloody tanks.

Hmmm.

I don't know whether to buy C&C Generals for £40, or get the Red Alert 2 bundle for £30 (Yuri's Revenge included). Decisions, decisions! Or alternatively I can buy Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance for £40 and another joypad for £25. Any suggestions?

Red Alert 2 bundle, or buy Warcraft. Generals is fun, but like I said, I have seen smarter A.I. units in the game Lemmings.

I've got all the Warcraft games. Incidentally, I bought Generals. I'll get the RA2 bundle next month, along with MK: DA :)
