Pfft. Where can you go sledding in DC? Its not full of hills... hence why Virgininan suburbia is so much better.

It started last night...sleet, snow, freezing rain - almost an inch of ice so far. It can stop anytime, now :(

This weather sucks. Furnace stopped working again, so when I got back from work this morning my house was a chilly 45 degrees.
Emergency maintanence was done, but the house is slow to warm up, it's now about 60 degrees in the house now.
I HATE WINTER.

BAH!!! We are the most Northern state after Alaska, and do we get snow? NO! Damn Pacific Ocean Weather! Blows all the clouds high and fast, right over the Washington Lowlands to drop it in the Mountains and beyond!
The Olympic Mountains get some snow, and then the Cascade Mountains... but do we, who sit between these two mountain ranges get snow??? Nope! We get rain!!! But on a happy side note: I get to keep going to school! HAHAHA... Crude....

Snow must be in my blood, hell, if I ran out in the snow with only shorts on, I would almost disappear (My Hair on my head and the Shorts would be the only thing that would stand out.)
I love the snow! I love how I can get some koolaid, run out side in a newly fallen snow, and make some Snowcones. Snowball fights, and Snow men.
If you ever visit the Northwest during the winter, make your way up to the Bavarian-style village, Leavenworth. It is awesome walking down that street with snow falling from the buildings.
You can literally Cross Country Ski right out of town, and in minutes be traveling by Lakes with such a clear reflection, that you can see every little detail of the mountains beyond within.
I honestly think It can bring a sense of life into you.

Here in Beijing it snowed (sorta), and it was really cool for two days, but then it got all dirty cuz the people peed in it and drove their cars over the sidewalks, and...yeah...
BTW, has anybody ever wondered two things about Calvin and Hobbes? 1) Why he's had his 6th birthday and his 6 year old X-mas a bunch of times, and...2)How that damn sled always returns to its original shape!
