Remember it? I mentioned it a few pages back :)

Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions for how to run it? I was thinking simply pick a winner in each category, one with the most picks win. Now, I ask:

1) Is this a system you would use?

2) Should any categories hold extra marks (And how much)?

3) I was thinking of starting it exactly 2 weeks before the Oscars. Is that too long/short?

That sounds like a good plan Reaper
2 Maybe the big categories, I am not sure there
3 That sounds like plenty of time.

Yeah, the extra scores thing was making me unsure. What is classed by a "big" category? Film/Actor/Actress/Director? Some would argue the supporting roles are as valid for a "big" Oscar.

I would put a straight point value across the board. If anything, I would give more points to the more obscure categories.

lol, okay :)

One thing though, I will probably have to go to bed before the end. Hence, if anyone else wants to keep the score going, they can feel free. I've got an idea already how to make scoring easy :)

Just a simple point for every category. I'm pretty damn good usually. A few years back I only missed 3 categories out of the whole show.

I can keep up the score if you want Reaper, or you can just write up a winners list when you have time the next day.

Well, it depends on lectures really, MIGHT be there.

What I'll probably do no matter is make a simple listing where it says, say:

BEST FILM
The Two Towers: Marcus, Sene
THe Hours: Jon ;)

Or similar. It makes it quick to tally up no matter then :)
