While it is perfectly fine to be funny on the boards (I mean there are plenty of funny people on the boards) there is a fine line between funny and gross.

And the kind of post made here crosses the line completely. It had been brought up with the staff and the decision has been made to ban you for 24 hours starting at 12:30AM Pacific Standard Time. Sunday Morning at 12:30AM PST you will be unbanned and allowed to post again.

I just did some checking. I will ban his IP at 12:30 AM Pacific and make this announcement in OOC:

As of 12:30 AM PST 02/01/2003, a member of our community has been banned from all of the SW-Fans.Net forums for a period of 24 hours for making a crude and very vulgar post in this the OOC forum. I will not state the poster’s name so as not to cause him/her any unneeded duress beyond the disciplinary action already taking place. I will however ask everyone to remember that these forums are intended to be family and child friendly. If a post is deemed by the staff to violate such ethics, disciplinary action such as this, but not limited to only this, can and will follow.It is safe for me to 2 point ban his IP since no one else matches that much of it and the duration will be short.

If I am not around this evening at 12:30 AM PST (about 4 hours and 12 minutes from the time of this post), someone please remove the:

...section from the bottom of the IP ban area (found in the "Advanced Banning" section of the mod CP). That will remove Jamel's ban.
