Homeworld Fans...

...should look into a game by the name of Hegemonia. I spent last week playing through some of it and found it very similar yet different and fresh when compared to Homeworld. A very nice full 3D RTS game with decent depth, story and length. :)

I've always wanted to play a sort of Naval (or Stellar Navy) RTS, but I could never find anything that interested me, Armada just wasn't my bag, I really liked the idea of Rebellion, but I didn't have the system requirements when it came out to buy it and now I can't find it.

What's the basic premise of this game?

Yeah, check out Homeworld first. Its cheaper too.

I love Homeworld. The only thing I'd like to have seen it it was the ability to build things such as spacestations with defences and shipyards to build cruisers etc. And there was (in my opinion) too small a limit on the number of units you could have. Other than that it's one of my favourite RTS's out there! It just wasn't silly enough to replace WarCraft and StarCraft though! :p
