Don't see it.

Its utter crap. Eight Crazy Nights was better. :(

Two words hinted at this.

Martin Lawrence :)

Jeez, Blue Streak aside, he just reeks of being the poor mans Eddie Murphy (Yes, even today :)). The guy needs to try something different.

Yeah... he needs like a serious movie or something.

I haven't liked anything of his since Bad Boys. :\

I LOVED Nothing to Lose. That was a great movie.

His stand-up "Delirious" was one of the funniest things I've ever seen, but as for his movies, I can't really say I like them. Other than "Showtime" just because DeNiro was in it.

*is shocked!*

not...

So your all telling me no one got a kick out of Black Knight? ;)
Imagine that... :p

I hate Martin Lawrence for the most part. The guy is a stupid fool. Martin Lawrence Live was a waste of life, Black Knight was pitiful, and National Security looks retarded and I won't bother watching it.

Blue Streak was fine, it was somewhat enjoyable. Bad Boys is good. I look forward to the sequel, which should be fun.

Eddie Murphy, despite being overall one of my favorite actors (or should I say "screen presences"?), is a Hollywood whore. In other words, he will do anything for the money, lol. Oh well, personally I enjoyed Showtime, I liked Pluto Nash (biggest bomb in the history of the world? Maybe... $4 million from $100 million budget far outdoes notable failures like Waterworld...), and I'm so tired I forget the other film he did in the year. But I liked it whatever it was. They weren't that good really, but I enjoyed 'em all.

Still, Dr. Doolittle 2? I'm still cringing...

I just saw National Security - and I laughed. It was enjoyable, for ME.

:D

But, Charley will tell you I have horrible taste in movies, so take that how you will. :)

Blue Streak, and Nothing to Lose are hilarious. HILARIOUS.

They are 3 star good maybe, not that funny.

You have horrible taste in movies.

Haha, j/k!!!! :)

Nah I don't mind. (LD here, too lazy to log out :)) I'm not going to state my opinion and then backtrack when people don't agree with me.

I enjoyed National Security.

So...hah!>D

You laugh because I'm different....I laugh because you're all the same. <--something I just ripped off of a t-shirt. :crack

I should go to bed. :)

I just saw a good quote in a friend's profile.

"You may be through with the past, but the past isn't through with you!"

That'd make a great tagline for a horror movie, IMO :)

Sounds like "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer." :)

That film is ironic.

It should be titled, "Nothing to Lose (Except Two Hours of Your Time and $3 at Blockbuster)"

'Nothing to Lose' is an underrated gem. I laughed ALOT at that flick.

That's pretty much the only good movie Martin Lawrence has made though.

Which one is nothing to lose?

Thank you, LD, I needed a good beating. ;)

I'm kidding, I actually did enjoy Nothing to Lose. Everyone liked that movie somewhat pretty much. It's funny...

I think we own it on DVD, but it's not in my venerable collection :)

I think I have somewhere around 400 DVDs now, I can't really tell, lol. It's becoming a rather amazing collection. I just have to make sure I get a lot more of my favorite, truly acclaimed films.

I have Metropolis (1927) on pre-order, I really cannot wait for that, a film I've wanted to see for ages now. Finally.
