After entirely cleaning out my MP3 folder, I seemed to have gone from about 450 files to about 30. This weekend I'm going to try and go on a downloading binge to fill my playlist back up, so I'd ask that some of you recommend a quality album or two. When I download music I do full albums at a time, so I need some stuff where the whole album is good.
I'm open to just about anything you got, excluding country and most mainstream hiphop. Recommend as many albums as you like, because more than likely I'm downloading everything that is mentioned. :)

I own all of SoaD's stuff... and yeah, I like just about anything unless it's whorish MTV music.

You're right... interesting combination. :)
My favorite Prince song is "Sexy Mother F***er". Just got a great groove to it. Of course, so does a lot of Prince's stuff.
(Note: And no, I'm not trying to thumb my nose at the swear filter... it is the name of the song, after all.)

Why does everyone like ACDC????
Every song they put out is the exact same, just different words. They've like 9478982765025 albums all the same!

One could make the same argument for many other artists... it's all in personal preference.

(Syrius, Sage, Avolon, Jacen here) :)
Okay, I'll have more when I think of 'em.
Beck: Odelay, Mellow Gold, Midnight Vultures, Sea Change
Remy Zero: Villa Elaine, The Golden Hum
Barenaked Ladies: Stunt
Dandy Warhols: Come Down, 13 Tales of Urban Bohemia
Pearl Jam: Yield
I might have more later. I don't buy a CD unless I REALLY more than 4-6 songs I've downloaded of theirs, off that CD. So I can't really give many CDs. Oh, and good for you trying out new music. :)
