An Idle Walk [Open]

Bored, Andrue began to hum to himself. Ever since Eve adopted him, he had a warm bed to sleep in, new clothes and food. He also had someone to talk to. Once in awhile he would get a glimpse of the red head, Syren, but she spent most of her time in solitude. Although he didn't tell anyone this, she secretly gave him the creeps, especially after Eve explained the whole ressurection deal.

"Sorry," he muttered after bumping into a woman, and started to pay attention where he was going.

Where was he going, though? Frowning in thought, Andrue shoved his hands in his pants and glanced around. He could always go into a bakery and buy some fresh bread for Eve, but he didn't bring any credits. Sighing, he continued to trudge along the dirty street.

"I wonder if the street performers are out today ..."

Usually there were mimes and actors playing out short skits, and he always loved to watch them. Anxiously the thirteen year old began to hurry his pace, ready to turn around the corner where they always were.

Straffe had been walking alone on the streets, thinking to himself. He passed through the crowed which seemed to part away from his path. As he walked he noticed a little boy pass by who seemed to be in the wrong place. As the boy passed he noticed suspicious looking group of men fallowing him.

Straffe read their minds and saw that they were planing to jump the kid. Straffe quickly stoped the group and used his Jedi tricks to make them trune the other way. As the group left, Straffe walked up beside the child

"Are you going anywhere inpaticular?"

He had a warm smile to show the child that he was friendly and not after him

As soon as he turned around the corner, there were boisterous remarks made behind him and he paused, taking a couple steps back and turning around. He saw a group of men hurry away, obviously irritated, and a blonde man who walked up to him. Slightly confused, Andrue watched the men for a little while longer before turning his brown eyes to the stranger.

"I'm just going to see a couple street performers, if they're out," he replied, noticing the warm smile. This slightly relieved him but he still remained tense, just incase.

"Who," he said, gesturing towards the departed group of men, "were they?"

Straffe continued to walk beside the young boy

"They were going to harm you but I made them change their mind"

As they walked down the street, they passed by a man with a monkey dancing

"I am Straffe Stormrider...Who might you be?"

As the man began to resume walking, Andrue found himself right by his side, tagging along. Made them change their mind ..? But how ...

The man casually introduced himself as Straffe Stormrider as they passed by a street entertainer. The monkey had on a red cap and was hopping up and down, chattering away mindlessly. The man who held the monkey on a leash had on face paint and wore a red suit, holding out a golden box for coins to be dropped in.

"M'name's Andrue."

Straffe gave the man some credits. He continued to walk beside the little boy

"Just out of curiosity...What are you doing on this side of town? Its dangerous for someone of your size"
