[Janus Riddyl]

Janus exited his room to walk the corridors of the living quarters. He had a slow pace, he didn't really have anything to do. Things tend to become less exciting here after a while. Plus the fact that I don't really know anyone here doesn't help. Janus turned a corner and continued to walk. Now he started to notice that a lot of people were related here. I wonder how different things would be if any of my family came here. A large majority of his race had rejected the idea of openly interacting with society. I am glad I broke free of the isolation, but I do miss my family and friends...

[Kyle Krogen]

Kyle was on his way to his room when he saw someone he hadnt met before walking down the hall

He walked up to him "Hello my name is Kyle Krogen are you new here?"

[Janus Riddyl]

Janus turned to meet the new face. "Relativly yeah, I've been here just long enough to begin training. I'm Janus Riddyl, nice to meet you." Janus paused for a moment. "So are you a Padawan also?"

[Kyle Krogen]

"yes i've been here for a while my training has stoped since my master has been very busy so i havnt lurned a lot"

Kyle said with a smile.

[Janus Riddyl]

Janus nodded his head "So what l have you learned yet?"

[Kyle Krogen]

"i've learned the basics and have constructed a light saber but thats about it..... have you done any training Janus?"

[Janus Riddyl]

"Yes I have, I've worked with telekinesis and enhancing my body. So you have constructed a lightsaber? I intend to build mine soon, I expect I'll need it for my upcoming mission."

[Kyle Krogen]

"mission?" this statement puzzled Kyle.

[Janus Riddyl]

"Padawan field assignment. I signed up and hopefully we will leave within a few days...Now that I think about it I won't have a lightsaber built by then."

[Kyle Krogen]

"I signed up for that too yeah you probubly wont have your saber by then hmmm i'm sure you could borrow one from a fellow Jedi" Kyle said hopefully.

[Janus Riddyl]

"Yeah, most likely...So, where is it that you are from?"

[Kyle Krogen]

"im from the other side of this planet i grew up on the streets" Kyle said thinking back to his past.

[Janus Riddyl]

"I see. Sounds like a tough life."

[Kyle Krogen]

"yes it was hard but i survived and now im here" Kyle said with a hopeful grin "what about you Janus?"

[Janus Riddyl]

"I'm from the moons orbiting Iego. I won't be surprised if you've never heard of it, most have only heard rumors and even those are fading out."

[Kyle Krogen]

"i've never heard of them or any rumors maybe you could tell me about them?"

[Janus Riddyl]

"Iego is on the farther part of the outer rim. Long before Palpatine came to power there have been incidents that caused my ancestors to take the course of secrecy. Time went by and our existance faded into myth until recently there have been movements to come out and make our presence known in the New Republic. I am a part of these movements by joining the Jedi to be trained in the Force." Janus stopped speaking to breathe, "The most popular rumor was sighting of our women, they're incredibly beatuful by most human standards."

[Kyle Krogen]

"wow thats cool" Kyle said even though he had no idea where the outer rim was.

[Janus Riddyl]

"Yeah, it probably seems so to you. To me it's just the way things are. To me, your story is interesting; but thats from my perspective."

[Kyle Krogen]

"yeah but i think just about anything i hear is cool since i dont know a lot of things since living on the streets with no money to pay for school does that to you."

[Janus Riddyl]

"Ah, I see. I was self educated in the history of the Galaxy. Where I'm from, our leaders don't want us to know of anything outside our home moon. I think it is a terrible thing to deny education to someone, no matter what the subject is."

[Kyle Krogen]

Kyle nodded his head in agrement

"the only education i had was from other street boy's and all they taght me was how to pick pockets and locks and things like that."

[Janus Riddyl]

"Unfortunate. So what made you want to be a Jedi?"

[Kyle Krogen]

"well after i powers came out my step-parents were scared that it might become dangerous so i agreed with them to come here and i've always wanted to accepted by more then my step-parents."

[Janus Riddyl]

"Ah, so your step-parents are jedi then?"

[Kyle Krogen]

"no they where not Jedi."

[Janus Riddyl]

"Didn't you say the were Force wielders? I would imagine if they brought you to the Jedi then they would be Jedi also, I'm sorry, my mistake."

[Kyle Krogen]

"no they knew a lot about the jedi but they wernt it was kind of strange...."

[Janus Riddyl]

"Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up."

[Kyle Krogen]

"sure thing."
