I am rather shocked that this may be true... I felt that Rose would never be willing to admit this and apologize for the years of denial. Now... he may do just that. The talks between him and Selig must actually have some substance to them.

He may have realized this is about his only chance of the Hall of Fame, just admit to it, apologize and move on and they'll probably let him in.

It's is his only choice. Fans on the whole just want Charlie Hustle in the Hall. People will always remember him for the gambling, but he's just got to be in the Hall. He'll come out, admit it, get some crap hurled at him, take it on the chin like he has been and eventually get inducted. Then everyone will forget about it.
