Sort of Elf? Well.......

The system Marcus and Helenias come from was orginally called TerraAustralis, which of course is ridiculos. So, it's now called Arda. Marcus comes from a hell hole now known as Arnor, a place that is one f'king big desert and high gravity. Helenias comes from a garden planet that's been called Imdralis.

Helenias' race (called the First) are all fairly well attuned to The Force. Marcus' race, is not. We both speak Quenya as native tongue.

Apart from a few place names, there's no powers or abilities dragged from LOTR, it's all rooted deep in Star Wars. So, she's avoided calling herself Elf.

Really, it's pretty easy to hide it, if you just do some disquise work. There's no need to be calling yourself Elf, which is blatant. You dont need to do a lot because I could find names and terms that only a true hard core Tolkein geek could recognise.

Long as it looks a smells legit Star Wars, no-ones really gonna care
