Most people that care to share their IM names put them in their user profiles.

That, and most people who do have AIM but do not display their screennames in their profile are very particular about who they give it to. Some people will only give their sn's to people they know they can trust. Not to say you aren't trustworthy. It's just that you are new, so they don't know you. Go RP, make some friends, let people get to know you.
